Since our last monthly update, we've added lots of new and improved EasyRoutes functionality - including a few of our users' most frequently requested features. Here's some of the highlights from April.
We've added a new activity feed to the EasyRoutes Dashboard and individual route pages, providing at-a-glance access to events and updates related to your routes, stops, and drivers.
Use the Dashboard activity feed (shown above) to monitor overall progress across all of your routes and stops, or access activity feeds in the upper right-hand corner of any individual route and route group pages (shown below) to pinpoint specific details about currently active or historical routes:
Individual activities can be expanded to access details about the user or collaborator who initiated an activity, including their Shopify user ID or email address, IP address, and device details, when available.
For full details on the types of activities contained in the EasyRoutes activity feed and how to interact with them, see the support article for this new feature.
We've released EasyRoutes' new driver profiles feature, allowing users to configure and retain drivers' preferred start or end locations, and quickly review recent delivery ratings and comments received for each driver. Click any driver's name from your EasyRoutes Drivers & Vehicles navigation tab to update their profile details.
When configuring Route Options for new or existing routes, the Start/end locationsoption will display with a warning if the route's assigned driver has a preferred location configured. Click the Use driver settings button to use the driver's preferred start/end locations (as shown above).
For full details on working with EasyRoutes' driver profiles, see the support article for this new feature.
We've added a new view option to the Routes page, allowing users to visualize routes on a calendar based on their scheduled start/end dates and durations.
Users can toggle between the existing table view and the new calendar view using the buttons in the upper right-hand corner of the Routes page. Switch between Month, Week, and Day views to suit your route planning workflows.
Filter controls can also be applied to the calendar view to fine-tune which routes are displayed based on route status, route tags, or assigned driver/vehicle. Click any route's calendar entry to jump directly to that route's page.
The EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app for both iOS and Android devices has been updated to version 1.0.68. This release features support for mobile stop re-ordering, as well as improved handling and responsiveness when completing Driver Tasks and scanning barcodes from the mobile app.
This mobile release also contains a new "waiting" dialog to indicate when background driver task updates are processing, prior to uploading proof of delivery or marking a stop as complete, as well as minor bug fixes & UI improvements.
Drivers will need to update to the latest version of the mobile app (version 1.0.68 or above) in order to take advantage of these new features and improvements within the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app.
