Most workflows run comfortably within default limits when you batch requests, avoid unnecessary polling, and rely on webhooks to trigger updates rather than frequent reads. If you expect sustained high throughput (e.g., large imports or rapid status updates), our team can help you design an efficient approach and advise on limits for your use case.

Can I use Workflows with Xero invoices?

Yes. Once Xero invoices are imported into EasyRoutes (via CSV, Zapier, or API), you can use them with EasyRoutes Workflows. For example, you could build a Workflow that automatically creates delivery routes every morning from all paid invoices and dispatches them to drivers. This saves time and ensures consistency. Does the app provide turn-by-turn navigation?

Yes. EasyRoutes opens your driver’s preferred navigation app for turn‑by‑turn directions. Drivers can choose Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze as their default navigation app from the mobile app's settings page. Drivers can also long tap and choose a different app on the fly if needed. Getting directions is available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Do I need coding skills to connect Wix with EasyRoutes?

No coding is required if you use Zapier, which allows you to set up automations like sending new Wix orders into EasyRoutes with just a few clicks. For businesses needing deeper control, the EasyRoutes API allows developers to build integrations for syncing fulfillments, handling custom workflows, or connecting to other back-office systems. How do Workflows interact with EasyRoutes notifications and dispatching?

Workflows are closely integrated with EasyRoutes’ existing notification and dispatch systems. This means you can set up a Workflow that not only creates a route but also automatically assigns it to a driver and triggers delivery notifications to customers at the right moments. For example, you could design a Workflow that dispatches a route to a driver as soon as it’s created, ensuring they receive a push notification in the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app. As soon as the driver starts their route, EasyRoutes can send customers an email or SMS letting them know their delivery is on the way. This seamless integration ensures your team doesn’t need to remember to click multiple buttons — communication and route management just happen automatically.

How quickly can I get started?

Setup is quick: install EasyRoutes (Shopify) or sign in (Web), connect drivers, select orders with filters, and click Create route. Use the defaults for service times and route options, then print or dispatch to the driver app. Most trial users reach a working route within an hour, often faster with our step‑by‑step guide.

If you import orders from outside Shopify, start with a small CSV or a few manual stops to validate the flow before scaling.

How do I add a driver to EasyRoutes?

Access the Drivers & Vehicles tab from the EasyRoutes navigation menu, click Add driver, and enter the driver’s name and phone number. EasyRoutes sends the invite; the driver installs the Delivery Driver app and signs in with an SMS code. Assign a seat to activate them and dispatch their first route.

EasyRoutes builds efficient routes by combining your inputs (orders/stops and addresses) with constraints and preferences. It accounts for start and end locations, optional time windows, per‑stop service times, speed factors, and limits such as maximum duration, stops, items, or weight. You can create multiple routes at once, balance stops evenly, or optimize for the fewest routes that still meet your limits. After reviewing the map and stop list, drag‑and‑drop stops to make manual adjustments, then re‑optimize to apply changes.

Are Workflows included in all EasyRoutes plans, or only Premium?

Workflows are available on EasyRoutes Premium and Enterprise plans. These plans are designed for businesses that need more advanced tools to handle larger delivery volumes and complex processes. On Premium and Enterprise, you not only get access to Workflows, but also other advanced features like custom notifications, vehicle profiles, real-time driver tracking, and delivery analytics.

If you’re running a small business with only a few deliveries per week, you may be fine with a Standard plan. But if your business is scaling or you want to automate as much as possible, upgrading to Premium ensures you can take advantage of Workflows. This investment pays off quickly by saving your team time, reducing manual work, and improving consistency across your delivery operations.

Can I auto-dispatch routes?

Yes. Enable automatic dispatch so newly created routes with a scheduled start time are assigned and sent to the chosen driver immediately — no extra clicks. Use this for recurring daily runs or integrations that create routes programmatically. You can still edit or un-dispatch a route before start time if plans change.

Can EasyRoutes send notifications for Xero deliveries?

Yes. Once invoices are imported into EasyRoutes, customers linked to those invoices can receive branded notifications via email or SMS, complete with live tracking links. This improves delivery transparency and reduces customer inquiries. See: EasyRoutes for Xero

What WooCommerce plugins are recommended for exporting orders?

The WebToffee “Order Export & Import for WooCommerce” plugin is one of the recommended tools for exporting WooCommerce orders to CSV. It lets you configure export settings like separating line items, which ensures EasyRoutes can correctly map customer and order details. Other export tools may work, but WebToffee is the most commonly documented and tested option.

What can I do with EasyRoutes’ Zapier integration?

Zapier expands EasyRoutes by letting you connect with thousands of popular apps like Google Sheets, Slack, Gmail, and CRMs. You can set up automated workflows such as importing new orders into EasyRoutes, sending delivery updates to your team via Slack, or logging route data into spreadsheets for reporting. Can proof of delivery be shared with customers?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web can surface proof of delivery (PoD) to customers. Enable PoD display on tracking pages and decide which delivery events should send links via email/SMS. When a driver completes a stop, PoD is attached to that stop and becomes available to customers according to your settings. Admins always see PoD in route and stop details for auditing or future reference.

How do I authenticate API requests?

API access uses tokens you create in your EasyRoutes account. Follow the Getting Started guide to generate a token, store it securely, and add it to requests from your server or integration platform. Tokens work the same way for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Rotate credentials periodically and avoid embedding them in client‑side code.

Does EasyRoutes support real-time updates for Wix orders?

By default, CSV imports are static snapshots. To enable real-time updates, you can set up a Zapier workflow that pushes new or updated Wix orders into EasyRoutes automatically. Alternatively, use the API to sync live changes such as address edits or cancellations, ensuring drivers always have up-to-date information. See: Zapier Guide

Does EasyRoutes for Web offer the same features as EasyRoutes for Shopify?

The majority of EasyRoutes’ core route planning and optimization features are included in both products, including our intuitive user interface, customizable route options, and visual route planning via map views.  

EasyRoutes features that rely on Shopify-native functionality or APIs (such as Shopify email & SMS notifications, order tags, subscription order generation, and fulfillment workflows) are not currently available on EasyRoutes for Web.  Select EasyRoutes automation tools (including import automation rules) are also currently exclusive to EasyRoutes for Shopify.

How do I import BigCommerce orders into EasyRoutes?

To import BigCommerce orders, export them in CSV format from your BigCommerce dashboard. Then log into EasyRoutes, go to Orders → Import new CSV, and upload the file. EasyRoutes will map fields like customer name, address, and items. Once imported, your orders will appear as pins on the map, ready for route optimization.

How does EasyRoutes pricing work?

EasyRoutes uses a flexible, seat‑based model. Choose a plan (Standard, Premium, Enterprise) and activate the number of driver seats you need; you’re billed only for active seats. What are the main benefits of using EasyRoutes with Xero?

How do driver seats work?

Instead of paying for individual drivers, with EasyRoutes you just pay for a driver seat and can put any driver in your roster into that seat.For example, you could have a plan with two driver seats, but have four drivers in your driver roster. You can easily change which two drivers are active at any given time. And, if you have a busy delivery weekend, you can add seats for the additional drivers for that weekend, and then remove the seats after you're done with them. We prorate the charges and credits for upgrading and downgrading based on the changes in the number of seats on your plan.
