Yes. From EasyRoutes Settings → Customer notifications, tailor email and SMS templates with your branding and dynamic variables, and select exactly which events trigger messages (Ready for Delivery, Out for Delivery, Driver is X Stops Away, Delivered, Missed Delivery, plus Scheduled/Rescheduled). You can maintain separate templates for Shopify orders vs. imported/manual stops, and send messages automatically with links to branded tracking pages. This customization is available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
Customer tracking pages can display an anonymized, live driver pin so recipients can see the driver’s progress as delivery approaches. Enable the option in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use delivery notifications (email/SMS) to send tracking links automatically. When live location is unavailable (e.g., permissions off), the page still shows status updates and ETAs based on route progress.

By connecting WooCommerce to EasyRoutes, you unlock the full delivery management suite: optimized multi-stop routes, live driver tracking, branded notifications, proof of delivery (photos, notes, signatures), and analytics dashboards. This transforms WooCommerce from a simple order-taking tool into a complete last-mile delivery platform. Whether you’re handling 10 deliveries a week or 1,000, EasyRoutes scales with your business and improves customer satisfaction.
Yes. When a stop can’t be completed, drivers mark it Attempted instead of Delivered from the Update Status section on the stop. They can choose a preset reason (for example, no answer, inaccessible, or Canceled) and add a note or proof of delivery to document what happened. The reason then appears on the stop’s details and feeds into your delivery analytics. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
Yes. When you configure a Scanner-input Driver Task, tick the Delivered and/or Attempted checkboxes to make a successful scan mandatory before that status can be applied. You can also require a Barcode Scan as proof of delivery from Settings > Driver Settings. Either way, drivers can’t mark the stop complete until the scan is captured. Available on Premium and Enterprise plans, in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

No — routes are single‑driver to keep tracking, ETAs, and proof‑of‑delivery accurate. If two or more drivers are needed, split the stops into multiple routes (or create a new route for leftovers) and dispatch each separately. You can also publish a route without assigning a driver, and share a self‑assign link so someone from your pool can claim it when ready.
Yes. You can integrate EasyRoutes with ERPs, CRMs, WMS, and custom apps using our API and webhooks. Typical use cases include importing stops from non‑Shopify channels, syncing delivery status and proof‑of‑delivery back to your system of record, and powering external analytics collection. The same platform supports both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
Yes. Drivers can view delivery instructions and customer notes alongside each stop, including details pulled from Shopify orders. Admins can control visibility from EasyRoutes Settings → Routes (Route display options) and EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings (Driver app settings). Show only what drivers need in the field while keeping sensitive data minimal.

No, you don’t need to be a developer to take advantage of Workflows. The Workflows feature is designed to be accessible to non-technical users by using a visual, menu-based interface. You simply select a scheduling frequency, define any conditions (like “only include orders tagged Local Delivery”), and choose an action (for example, “create and dispatch a route”).
This no-code design makes Workflows similar to popular automation tools like Zapier or Shopify Flow, where anyone can build powerful automations just by clicking and selecting from available options. That said, more advanced users can extend Workflows with APIs or webhooks to create complex, custom integrations, giving both beginners and power users maximum flexibility.

EasyRoutes doesn’t provide a native accounting app, but it connects cleanly via exports and integrations. Export route/stop CSVs for reconciliation, or use the Routes API and webhooks to sync delivery events (e.g., Delivered, Attempted) to tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or an ERP. Zapier can automate common tasks — posting mileage, closing jobs, or notifying finance of COD deliveries — without complicated code.

The majority of EasyRoutes’ core route planning and optimization features are included in both products, including our intuitive user interface, customizable route options, and visual route planning via map views.
EasyRoutes features that rely on Shopify-native functionality or APIs (such as Shopify email & SMS notifications, order tags, subscription order generation, and fulfillment workflows) are not currently available on EasyRoutes for Web. Select EasyRoutes automation tools (including import automation rules) are also currently exclusive to EasyRoutes for Shopify.

EasyRoutes helps protect perishable and temperature-sensitive goods by keeping product moving and time on the road to a minimum. Cap each route with Max route duration and Max stops per route so no run exceeds your safe window, assign delivery time windows to fragile stops, and let optimization sequence and split orders across drivers for faster dispatch. This works the same in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Yes. In Settings > Delivery Zones, tick the zones you no longer need and click Archive to remove them from your active list. Archived zones aren’t gone for good — use the Add filter control below the map to show Archived or All, then select and Unarchive any you want back. This keeps your active zone list tidy without losing past boundaries. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Yes. Packing slips are configurable so teams can show the fields drivers or packers need. In EasyRoutes Settings → Packing Slips & Labels you can: include a logo, select variables (customer details, order items, notes), set text sizes, and tweak headers and helper text. Print slips directly from any route.
Note: Some variables are only available when printing one slip per stop vs. one per item. Adjust your preference in the Print Preview if you need item-level detail.
Yes. When you create multiple routes together, EasyRoutes groups them so you can monitor all active drivers in a single view. The Route Group page shows color‑coded pins, per‑route progress, and live stop updates. Use this view to coordinate dispatch, answer customer inquiries, and rebalance work if needed by moving stops between routes.
Yes. Once Xero invoices are imported into EasyRoutes (via CSV, Zapier, or API), you can use them with EasyRoutes Workflows. For example, you could build a Workflow that automatically creates delivery routes every morning from all paid invoices and dispatches them to drivers. This saves time and ensures consistency.

Absolutely. EasyRoutes supports mixed sources across both products (Shopify and Web). Bring in non‑Shopify orders by uploading a CSV, sending stops through the Routes API, connecting via webhooks/Zapier, or adding custom stops manually. Once imported, they appear alongside Shopify orders on the Orders page, can be filtered like any other stop, and can be optimized together on the same route.

Go to tDrivers & Vehicles, open the driver, and edit their name, phone number, or notes. If a phone number changes, update it here so dispatch and sign‑in continue to work. Drivers may also edit their display name inside the Delivery Driver app.
Yes. EasyRoutes supports BigCommerce orders in several ways. You can export orders from BigCommerce and import them into EasyRoutes via CSV, or use Zapier and our API for real-time automation. This lets you start quickly with spreadsheet imports and grow into fully automated workflows as your delivery operation scales.
Yes. Workflows function on a custom scheduling basis that can be adjusted at any time. Any new Shopify orders received prior to the scheduling cut-off will be included in auto-generated routes. A common Workflow is set up to automatically generate routes with new Shopify orders matching certain filters criteria. This ensures your team can start deliveries without manual intervention.
This also eliminates the need for dispatchers to constantly refresh EasyRoutes or manually select new orders. By ensuring routes are always up-to-date with the latest order data, Workflows help reduce delays, prevent missed deliveries, and keep your delivery operation moving smoothly.
EasyRoutes Workflows support a wide variety of actions that cover the full delivery process, from order intake to customer communication. You can automatically generate new routes based on incoming orders, apply filters (such as only including orders tagged with “Priority” or due on a specific date), and dispatch routes directly to the correct driver. This level of automation means you can build a Workflow that matches your exact delivery process, no matter how simple or complex.

Customer tracking pages can display an anonymized, live driver pin so recipients can see the driver’s progress as delivery approaches. Enable the option in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use delivery notifications (email/SMS) to send tracking links automatically. Zapier includes ready-to-use templates to help you get started quickly. Examples include sending Gmail alerts when a stop is delivered, creating rows in Google Sheets when a route updates, or updating project management tools like Trello with delivery status. These templates save setup time and let you deploy automations in just a few clicks.
Yes. When you create several routes together, EasyRoutes places them in a Route Group so you can manage a delivery day (or multiple zones) as a single unit. From the group page you can dispatch all routes, view colour‑coded live driver pins, move stops between routes, and balance workloads. Route Groups work the same in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and are ideal for medium/large fleets or recurring delivery days.
See: Route Groups
Yes. Enable automatic dispatch so newly created routes with a scheduled start time are assigned and sent to the chosen driver immediately — no extra clicks. Use this for recurring daily runs or integrations that create routes programmatically. You can still edit or un-dispatch a route before start time if plans change.
Yes. In both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web you can enforce a start action. When a driver taps Start Delivery in the mobile app, EasyRoutes records the route start time and begins live location updates. This prevents drivers from completing stops out of context and ensures analytics include drive time from the route's start location. If a route must be paused, drivers can resume later to continue tracking.
