Can I edit routes after they’ve been created?

Yes. Click into a route to make changes: add orders or custom stops, update addresses and service times, change the assigned driver (or vehicle), or edit start/end locations and the scheduled start. Drag‑and‑drop the list to manually adjust the stop sequence, or select multiple stops to bulk‑move them to another route. The editing toolbox is the same in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: How to Edit Routes

Can I track driver performance?

Yes. Use Delivery Analytics to review outcomes by driver — completed vs. missed stops, average delivery time, and overall success rate — over a selected period. Filter to focus on a single driver or compare across the team. For detailed investigations, open routes to see timestamps and proof of delivery, or export results for use in external tools.

See: Delivery Analytics

How do I add a driver to EasyRoutes?

Access the Drivers & Vehicles tab from the EasyRoutes navigation menu, click Add driver, and enter the driver’s name and phone number. EasyRoutes sends the invite; the driver installs the Delivery Driver app and signs in with an SMS code. Assign a seat to activate them and dispatch their first route.

See: How do I add a driver?

How do drivers sign in to the app?

To sign in, add the driver to your EasyRoutes account (Shopify or Web) with their phone number. The driver installs the app and enters that number; we send a one‑time SMS code to complete sign‑in. Routes assigned to that number appear automatically. If a driver changes phone numbers, update their driver profile so dispatch and permissions match.

Do I need coding skills to set up Zapier with EasyRoutes?

Zapier is designed to be used without coding. To integrate EasyRoutes, you typically select “Webhooks by Zapier” as a trigger, paste a webhook URL into EasyRoutes, and then connect it to actions like sending an email or updating a spreadsheet. All steps are handled through a simple, click-based interface. This makes automation accessible to any team member, not just developers.

How do I import Squarespace orders into EasyRoutes?

To import Squarespace orders, go to your Squarespace dashboard, navigate to “Orders,” and click the “Download CSV” button. Make sure only “Pending” orders are selected for export. Once downloaded, upload the CSV file into EasyRoutes via the “Import new CSV” option. Orders will appear as pins on the EasyRoutes map, ready for optimized route planning. This simple process makes it easy to bring Squarespace order data into your delivery workflow.

See: Squarespace Import Guide

Can I import orders into EasyRoutes from spreadsheets?

Yes. Upload a CSV to create stops with customer, address, and item details — even if the orders weren’t placed in Shopify. The importer supports line‑item fields such as quantity and weight so you can use vehicle capacity limits accurately. Once imported, these stops can be filtered, optimized into routes, and dispatched to drivers like any other order source.

See: How to import orders from CSV

Can I export my routes for reporting or analysis?

Yes. From the Routes page or an individual route view, export to CSV for all relevant route data points. Exports include stop details, timestamps, driver assignments, and URLs to related proof of delivery (photos/signature/notes). Use these files for accounting, customer service follow‑up, or analysis in spreadsheets or external tools. Exports are supported in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: How do I export routes/stops?

Can I customize the branding of the customer tracking page?

Yes. Your customer tracking page carries your branding — add your logo and adjust the look from EasyRoutes Settings > Order Tracking, and choose which order details and delivery information customers see. Paired with your notification settings, customers get a consistent, branded experience with live ETAs and driver location. This is separate from your email/SMS template customization. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Order tracking pages

Is Zapier available for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web?

Zapier integration is available whether you’re using EasyRoutes for Shopify or EasyRoutes for Web. Shopify users can extend native integrations with Zapier for additional automations, while non-Shopify users can rely on Zapier to connect EasyRoutes with their eCommerce, ERP, or POS platforms. This makes Zapier a universal automation layer for all EasyRoutes users.

See: Platform Support

Can I delete or archive old routes?

Yes. In both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web you can keep route history tidy by archiving routes you no longer need to manage daily, or permanently delete them. Use the checkboxes to select desired routes from the Routes page, and use the actions menu to archive or delete. Archiving preserves stop records, proof of delivery (photos/signature/notes), and analytics, so you can still search and export later. Deleting removes the route from Route History — make sure to export any reports you need first.

Use filters on the Routes page to show active, completed, or archived runs when you’re reconciling a period.

See: How do I archive or delete routes from my route history?

Can I troubleshoot missing or inaccurate tracking data?

Yes. Start with these checks:

  • The driver tapped Start Delivery;
  • Device settings allow Always/Allow all the time + Precise location;
  • Battery saver/optimization isn’t restricting background location;
  • Mobile data is on and the signal is stable;
  • The driver app is updated;
  • The driver reopened the app if it was force‑quit.

Can I make proof of delivery mandatory?

Yes. From Proof of Delivery settings, you can force one or more PoD elements to be collected before drivers can complete a stop. Choose the combinations that fit your workflow — e.g., require a photo for attempted stops, or require e‑signatures for only completed stops. These rules apply in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web, and can include Attempted stops.

See: Make PoD Required

Does the Activity Feed capture IP address and device info?

Yes, when available. Expanding an Activity Feed entry and opening its details shows who initiated the event — a user’s email address (or Shopify user ID) or a driver’s name — along with the IP address and device details captured for that action. This makes the feed useful for tracing changes and for compliance review. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Activity Feed

How are delivery date and time zones handled in EasyRoutes?

Time windows are interpreted in the time zone of each stop's delivery address, so a window set by your date picker is honored locally even when a route crosses time zone boundaries (for example, travelling from Chicago toward Indianapolis). Your Orders page and route columns display windows in your own local time, and stops in a different zone are annotated as such. This behavior is the same in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Are Workflows included in all EasyRoutes plans, or only Premium?

Workflows are available on EasyRoutes Premium and Enterprise plans. These plans are designed for businesses that need more advanced tools to handle larger delivery volumes and complex processes. On Premium and Enterprise, you not only get access to Workflows, but also other advanced features like custom notifications, vehicle profiles, real-time driver tracking, and delivery analytics.

If you’re running a small business with only a few deliveries per week, you may be fine with a Standard plan. But if your business is scaling or you want to automate as much as possible, upgrading to Premium ensures you can take advantage of Workflows. This investment pays off quickly by saving your team time, reducing manual work, and improving consistency across your delivery operations.

Are there API rate limits?

Yes. The EasyRoutes API enforces rate limits to ensure consistent performance for all users. Most workflows run comfortably within default limits when you batch requests, avoid unnecessary polling, and rely on webhooks to trigger updates rather than frequent reads. If you expect sustained high throughput (e.g., large imports or rapid status updates), our team can help you design an efficient approach and advise on limits for your use case.

See: API Getting Started Guide

Does EasyRoutes add tracking links to Shopify orders automatically?

Yes. Fulfilling an order from EasyRoutes creates a Shopify fulfillment that includes the EasyRoutes tracking number and URL. Customers see the link on the order status page and in applicable Shopify notifications. If templates were heavily customized, you may need to ensure the standard tracking snippet is present.

See: Customizable Order Tracking Pages and Links

Can proof of delivery items be shared with customers?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web can surface proof of delivery (PoD) to customers. Enable PoD display on tracking pages and decide which delivery events should send links via email/SMS. When a driver completes a stop, PoD is attached to that stop and becomes available to customers according to your settings. Admins always see PoD in route and stop details for auditing or future reference.

Can EasyRoutes send delivery notifications for Squarespace orders?

Yes. Once imported, Squarespace orders behave like any other EasyRoutes order. Customers can receive branded delivery notifications via email or SMS, including live tracking links that show where their driver is in real time. This helps reduce “Where’s my order?” calls and improves customer satisfaction.

See: Notifications & Tracking

Can I route Shopify Local Delivery and Pickup orders?

Yes. EasyRoutes reads Shopify Local Delivery details (including delivery instructions from checkout) and adds them to the stop for drivers. If you maintain Pickup orders and want them represented on a route — for example, to stage curbside handoff or transfer to another location — you can include them with your store or pickup address so the task appears in sequence and on printed documents.

See: Where can I see delivery instructions from a Shopify Local Delivery order?

Can I integrate EasyRoutes with other business tools?

Yes. Integrate EasyRoutes with your existing stack in two ways: (1) programmatically via the Routes API to import stops, create/dispatch routes, and update status; and (2) event‑driven with webhooks and Zapier to push delivery events into Sheets, Slack, email, ERPs/CRMs, or custom endpoints. These options are available for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

How can Workflows help automate my delivery operations?

Workflows allow you to automate many of the repetitive tasks that take up valuable time in your day-to-day delivery management. For example, if you typically log in each morning to create routes, assign them to drivers, and send customers notifications, Workflows can be set up to handle all of that automatically based on rules you define. This saves your dispatchers hours of work each week and helps eliminate mistakes, such as forgetting to notify a customer or leaving a route unassigned.

Automation also improves reliability — your drivers and customers can count on consistent, timely updates regardless of how busy your team is. In short, Workflows help standardize your operations so they run smoothly, even when volumes are high or resources are stretched thin.

See: Workflows Guide

How does billing work for an EasyRoutes plan subscription?

Subscriptions are processed through Shopify Billing (for EasyRoutes for Shopify) or Stripe (for EasyRoutes for Web). After your 14-day trial, app charges run on a 30-day subscription cycle that is independent from Shopify’s invoice cycle. When you add or remove driver seats during a cycle, we prorate charges/credits automatically. SMS delivery notifications are usage-based and draw from a separate balance when enabled.

Can I send customer delivery notifications for WooCommerce orders?

Yes. Even though WooCommerce doesn’t have the same native integration as Shopify, once orders are imported into EasyRoutes they behave the same as any other order. This means customers can receive branded email or SMS notifications, along with live tracking links. This reduces “Where’s my order?” calls and improves the customer experience.

Can EasyRoutes sync Squarespace orders automatically?

CSV import works well for manual workflows, but if you want orders to sync automatically, Zapier or the EasyRoutes API is the solution. Zapier allows you to create automations where new Squarespace orders are instantly sent to EasyRoutes. The API provides developers with even more control, such as syncing fulfillment statuses or building advanced integrations with other systems.
