Can I continue to use Shopify delivery notifications?

Yes. In EasyRoutes for Shopify you decide whether to send messages using EasyRoutes’ customizable templates, or Shopify’s native notification flows. EasyRoutes writes tracking details to the Shopify fulfillment so the order status page and Shopify notifications include the correct link. If you enable both systems, review your templates to prevent duplicate emails/SMS.

Configuration lives in EasyRoutes notification settings; Shopify templates are managed in your Shopify admin.

Can I assign multiple drivers to a single route?

No — routes are single‑driver to keep tracking, ETAs, and proof‑of‑delivery accurate. If two or more drivers are needed, split the stops into multiple routes (or create a new route for leftovers) and dispatch each separately. You can also publish a route without assigning a driver, and share a self‑assign link so someone from your pool can claim it when ready.

Are there any differences in the customer experience between products?

Customizable delivery status notifications (both email and SMS), order tracking pages including delivery ETAs, real-time driver location tracking, and Proof of Delivery (photos, eSignature, driver note, delivery GPS location) are all broadly supported on both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Customers receiving deliveries via either platform will benefit from the same user experience, tailored to meet your brand’s standards.

Will customers see proof of delivery along with live tracking?

Yes. Proof of delivery (PoD) captured in the driver app — photos, signature confirmation, and driver notes — is attached to the stop and can be surfaced on the customer’s tracking page. Enable PoD display in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications to share links automatically when a stop is delivered or attempted. PoD is also visible to admins on the route and order records for auditing and support.

Can I delete or archive old routes?

Yes. In both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web you can keep route history tidy by archiving routes you no longer need to manage daily, or permanently delete them. Use the checkboxes to select desired routes from the Routes page, and use the actions menu to archive or delete. Archiving preserves stop records, proof of delivery (photos/signature/notes), and analytics, so you can still search and export later. Deleting removes the route from Route History — make sure to export any reports you need first.

Use filters on the Routes page to show active, completed, or archived runs when you’re reconciling a period.

Can I combine Zapier with EasyRoutes Workflows?

Yes. Workflows automate delivery tasks inside EasyRoutes, while Zapier connects EasyRoutes to external systems. Together, they create powerful end-to-end automation. For instance, a Workflow might create a route when orders arrive, while Zapier sends Slack alerts or updates a Google Sheet whenever stops on that route are completed. Can I see completed vs. missed deliveries?

Yes. The Analytics dashboard summarizes delivered vs. missed (attempted) stops so you can monitor delivery success across time or by driver. Use this report to identify recurring issues (e.g., address problems or access constraints) and to validate improvements after workflow changes.

For context on individual failures, open the underlying routes or stops to review notes and proof‑of‑delivery entries. You can also export the analytics view as CSV for further analysis or sharing with stakeholders.

How do I add a driver to EasyRoutes?

Access the Drivers & Vehicles tab from the EasyRoutes navigation menu, click Add driver, and enter the driver’s name and phone number. EasyRoutes sends the invite; the driver installs the Delivery Driver app and signs in with an SMS code. Assign a seat to activate them and dispatch their first route.

How can Workflows help automate my delivery operations?

Workflows allow you to automate many of the repetitive tasks that take up valuable time in your day-to-day delivery management. For example, if you typically log in each morning to create routes, assign them to drivers, and send customers notifications, Workflows can be set up to handle all of that automatically based on rules you define. This saves your dispatchers hours of work each week and helps eliminate mistakes, such as forgetting to notify a customer or leaving a route unassigned.

Automation also improves reliability — your drivers and customers can count on consistent, timely updates regardless of how busy your team is. In short, Workflows help standardize your operations so they run smoothly, even when volumes are high or resources are stretched thin.

What is the Activity Feed in EasyRoutes?

The Activity Feed provides an up‑to‑date audit trail across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. It records events like route creation/dispatch, stop status updates (Out for Delivery, Delivered, Attempted), driver assignments, and proof‑of‑delivery uploads. Use it to investigate issues, answer customer inquiries with precise timestamps, and validate operational changes during a delivery day.

Can I export my routes for reporting or analysis?

Yes. From the Routes page or an individual route view, export to CSV for all relevant route data points. Exports include stop details, timestamps, driver assignments, and URLs to related proof of delivery (photos/signature/notes). Use these files for accounting, customer service follow‑up, or analysis in spreadsheets or external tools. Exports are supported in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I preview my notification templates before sending them?

Yes. Open any template in the Notifications editor and use Preview with Example Data to see how your message will render, including variables. You can also send a real‑world test by creating a draft order or manual stop with your own contact details, and triggering notifications on a sample route. Preview/testing tools are available for both email and SMS on Shopify and Web.

How do I enable real-time driver tracking in EasyRoutes?

Enable live tracking from EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings in either EasyRoutes for Shopify or EasyRoutes for Web. Next, ensure each driver signs in to the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app (iOS/Android) and grants Always/Allow all the time location access with Precise location enabled. Once routes are started by a driver, location pins appear on the route’s Tracking tab. If privacy is a concern, you can restrict tracking for internal use only, or adjust the route expiry window for driver access.

Does EasyRoutes have an API?

Yes. You can integrate EasyRoutes with ERPs, CRMs, WMS, and custom apps using our API and webhooks. Typical use cases include importing stops from non‑Shopify channels, syncing delivery status and proof‑of‑delivery back to your system of record, and powering external analytics collection. The same platform supports both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

How do I import Wix orders into EasyRoutes?

Importing Wix orders is easy. From your Wix dashboard, export orders as a CSV file, then log into EasyRoutes and upload the file via the “Import new CSV” option. EasyRoutes automatically maps order fields like name, address, and quantity to ensure your orders are routed correctly. How does EasyRoutes optimize my routes?

EasyRoutes builds efficient routes by combining your inputs (orders/stops and addresses) with constraints and preferences. It accounts for start and end locations, optional time windows, per‑stop service times, speed factors, and limits such as maximum duration, stops, items, or weight. You can create multiple routes at once, balance stops evenly, or optimize for the fewest routes that still meet your limits. After reviewing the map and stop list, drag‑and‑drop stops to make manual adjustments, then re‑optimize to apply changes.

What is EasyRoutes and who is it for?

EasyRoutes combines route planning, driver dispatch, live tracking, and proof of delivery in one system. Teams select orders (from Shopify or external sources), create optimized routes with start/end locations and options (time windows, service times), then dispatch to the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app.

Admins monitor routes in the browser, view ETAs and driver location (Premium/Enterprise), and share branded tracking pages and notifications with customers. Proof of delivery items — photos, eSignature, notes — are captured in the field and visible on the stop record. EasyRoutes is designed for SMBs and delivery fleets of any size across industries.

Where can drivers download the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app?

Drivers can install the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) using the official links provided in our Help Center. The app works with both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web accounts; once added as a driver, sign in using the phone number on file and the SMS code sent to that device. After dispatch, routes appear automatically in the app and can also be opened from the push notification's shared route link.

What data is included in in Delivery Analytics?

Delivery Analytics provides a consolidated view of your operations across both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Key metrics include total stops and routes, completion rate, attempted/missed deliveries, average delivery time, and per‑driver performance summaries. Use it to compare activity over time, spot bottlenecks, and validate operational changes.

You can filter by time period and specific drivers to focus on a team or individual, then export results to CSV for reporting. For event‑level detail (e.g., when a stop changed status), open the route’s Activity Feed. Analytics refreshes as new delivery events are recorded, so the dashboard stays current throughout the day.

How does EasyRoutes work with orders without an address?

If a Shopify order arrives without a valid shipping address, EasyRoutes highlights it so you can fix the address before planning. Edit the order in Shopify (preferred for data accuracy) or add the correct address details to the stop in EasyRoutes, then refresh and route. For pickup orders, set the address to your store or pickup point so drivers and staff can see the correct location on the route map and in documents. Address completeness ensures accurate ETAs, navigation, and proof‑of‑delivery records.

Can I combine WooCommerce orders with orders from other platforms in EasyRoutes?

Yes. One of EasyRoutes’ strengths is its ability to centralize delivery management. You can import WooCommerce orders via CSV or Zapier while also syncing Shopify, BigCommerce, or other platform orders into the same account. EasyRoutes will display all of them together so you can generate optimized routes across multiple sales channels.

Does EasyRoutes for Web offer the same features as EasyRoutes for Shopify?

The majority of EasyRoutes’ core route planning and optimization features are included in both products, including our intuitive user interface, customizable route options, and visual route planning via map views.  

EasyRoutes features that rely on Shopify-native functionality or APIs (such as Shopify email & SMS notifications, order tags, subscription order generation, and fulfillment workflows) are not currently available on EasyRoutes for Web.  Select EasyRoutes automation tools (including import automation rules) are also currently exclusive to EasyRoutes for Shopify.

How is real-time driver location shared with customers?

Customer tracking pages can display an anonymized, live driver pin so recipients can see the driver’s progress as delivery approaches. Enable the option in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use delivery notifications (email/SMS) to send tracking links automatically. When live location is unavailable (e.g., permissions off), the page still shows status updates and ETAs based on route progress.

Can I deactivate a driver seat without removing the driver?

Yes. If a driver is seasonal or temporarily inactive, they can be temporarily deactivated until required again. The driver’s profile, history, and assignments remain in your account, but they cannot receive routes or sign in until re‑activated. This helps control costs without losing configuration.

Can I share proof of delivery via tracking links?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web can display proof of delivery (PoD) on the customer’s tracking page right after a stop is marked Delivered or Attempted. PoD can include delivery photos, e‑signature confirmation, and optional driver notes. Turn this on from EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications (email/SMS) to send tracking links automatically. Yes. EasyRoutes supports BigCommerce orders in several ways. You can export orders from BigCommerce and import them into EasyRoutes via CSV, or use Zapier and our API for real-time automation. This lets you start quickly with spreadsheet imports and grow into fully automated workflows as your delivery operation scales.
