Can I use the API to import orders from other platforms?

Yes. The EasyRoutes Routes API accepts imported stops (customer details, address, items, notes) so you can bring orders from non‑Shopify sources into EasyRoutes. After importing, you can create new routes, add the stops to existing routes, assign drivers, and dispatch. This works for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and complements CSV import when you need automation.

How do driver seats work?

Instead of paying for individual drivers, with EasyRoutes you just pay for a driver seat and can put any driver in your roster into that seat.For example, you could have a plan with two driver seats, but have four drivers in your driver roster. You can easily change which two drivers are active at any given time. And, if you have a busy delivery weekend, you can add seats for the additional drivers for that weekend, and then remove the seats after you're done with them. We prorate the charges and credits for upgrading and downgrading based on the changes in the number of seats on your plan.

Can EasyRoutes send notifications for Xero deliveries?

Yes. Once invoices are imported into EasyRoutes, customers linked to those invoices can receive branded notifications via email or SMS, complete with live tracking links. This improves delivery transparency and reduces customer inquiries. See: EasyRoutes for Xero

Can I send tracking links via SMS?

Yes. Enable SMS in EasyRoutes Settings → Customer notifications and include the tracking URL in templates such as Ready for Delivery, Out for Delivery, Driver is X Stops Away, Delivered, and Missed Delivery. SMS is supported in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web on Premium/Enterprise plans, and is billed per message segment by country. Can I dispatch routes directly to a driver?

Yes. From any route, choose Assign driver (or select from the header), then click Dispatch. The driver gets a push notification and can start the route from their phone. For busy days, dispatch multiple routes from a Route Group to release them all at once.

For example, you could create a Workflow that listens for new Shopify orders tagged as “Local Delivery” and automatically builds a route every morning at 9 AM, adds matching orders to the route, optimizes route stops, and assigns it to a specific driver. By reducing manual intervention, Workflows make your operations more consistent, scalable, and error-proof.

What actions can I perform in EasyRoutes using Zapier?

Zapier lets you automate actions inside EasyRoutes, such as importing stops from external systems. For example, a Zap could take new orders from WooCommerce or Xero and create delivery stops inside EasyRoutes automatically. Can I plan pickup routes?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports pickups alongside deliveries in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Add pickup stops the same way as deliveries (Shopify orders, CSV/API imports, or manual stops). Set the pickup location (store/warehouse/customer) and, if needed, add instructions or required items to the stop notes.

Pickups appear in the route in sequence with other stops, on printed documents, and in the driver app. If only pickups are needed, create a pickup‑only route and dispatch to the driver as usual.

Can I include proof of delivery on customer tracking links?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web can display proof of delivery (PoD) on the customer’s tracking page right after a stop is marked Delivered or Attempted. PoD can include delivery photos, e‑signature confirmation, and optional driver notes. Turn this on from EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications (email/SMS) to send tracking links automatically. For internal auditing, PoD is also visible on the route and stop records for your team.

You don’t need to be technical to connect Squarespace with EasyRoutes. Can I re-optimize a route after creating it?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web let you re‑optimize a route whenever plans change. Use this feature after you add or remove stops, change stop priorities, edit time windows or service times, or adjust limits like max route duration and stop limits. You can also balance stops across multiple routes first, then re‑optimize each route to tighten the sequence. If permitted in your Driver Settings, drivers may manually re‑order stops from the driver app or re‑optimize the remaining stops in their route to recalculate ETAs after mid‑route changes. You can also publish a route without assigning a driver, and share a self‑assign link so someone from your pool can claim it when ready.

Yes. EasyRoutes allows you to centralize multi-platform order management. You can import Squarespace orders via CSV or Zapier while also syncing Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Wix orders into the same account. Can I export my routes for reporting or analysis?

Yes. From the Routes page or an individual route view, export to CSV for all relevant route data points. What information can I see in real-time tracking as an admin?

Admins can monitor each active route from the Tracking tab: view a live GPS pin, the recent breadcrumb path, and which stop the driver is headed to now. Stop tiles update in real time with status changes and completion times, and proof of delivery (photos, signature, notes) appears as soon as it’s captured. You can also open a Route Group to watch multiple routes/drivers concurrently.
