Can proof be shown for attempted deliveries?

Yes. Drivers can add photos and notes for attempts (e.g., no answer, inaccessible). You can make PoD mandatory for Attempted stops, so drivers document the situation before moving on. Attempt proof appears with the stop’s history for admins and, if enabled, on customer tracking pages/notifications to explain what happened.

How does EasyRoutes optimize my routes?

EasyRoutes builds efficient routes by combining your inputs (orders/stops and addresses) with constraints and preferences. It accounts for start and end locations, optional time windows, per‑stop service times, speed factors, and limits such as maximum duration, stops, items, or weight. You can create multiple routes at once, balance stops evenly, or optimize for the fewest routes that still meet your limits. After reviewing the map and stop list, drag‑and‑drop stops to make manual adjustments, then re‑optimize to apply changes.

Can I integrate EasyRoutes with other business tools?

Yes. Integrate EasyRoutes with your existing stack in two ways: (1) programmatically via the Routes API to import stops, create/dispatch routes, and update status; and (2) event‑driven with webhooks and Zapier to push delivery events into Sheets, Slack, email, ERPs/CRMs, or custom endpoints. These options are available for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can drivers upload proof from their phone gallery?

Yes. In addition to taking photos in‑app, drivers can attach images from the phone’s gallery when you allow this option. It’s especially useful when a photo was captured by the camera app while offline; the driver adds it later, and EasyRoutes syncs the proof and timestamps once connectivity returns.

What can I do with the API?

The EasyRoutes API lets you automate your delivery workflow end‑to‑end: import orders/stops from external systems, create routes with your preferred options, assign drivers or vehicles, dispatch routes, and update stop or route status as deliveries progress. You can also read back route/stops for reporting and pair the API with webhooks to keep other systems synchronized in real time. Capabilities are consistent across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can EasyRoutes sync Squarespace orders automatically?

CSV import works well for manual workflows, but if you want orders to sync automatically, Zapier or the EasyRoutes API is the solution. Zapier allows you to create automations where new Squarespace orders are instantly sent to EasyRoutes. The API provides developers with even more control, such as syncing fulfillment statuses or building advanced integrations with other systems. See: Zapier Integration

How do drivers sign in to the app?

To sign in, add the driver to your EasyRoutes account (Shopify or Web) with their phone number. The driver installs the app and enters that number; we send a one‑time SMS code to complete sign‑in. Routes assigned to that number appear automatically. If a driver changes phone numbers, update their driver profile so dispatch and permissions match.

What real-time tracking data can I see as an admin?

Admins can monitor each active route from the Tracking tab: view a live GPS pin, the recent breadcrumb path, and which stop the driver is headed to now. Stop tiles update in real time with status changes and completion times, and proof of delivery (photos, signature, notes) appears as soon as it’s captured. You can also open a Route Group to watch multiple routes/drivers concurrently.

How does route optimization work on EasyRoutes?

Can I auto-dispatch routes?

Yes. Enable automatic dispatch so newly created routes with a scheduled start time are assigned and sent to the chosen driver immediately — no extra clicks. Use this for recurring daily runs or integrations that create routes programmatically. You can still edit or un-dispatch a route before start time if plans change.

Can I dispatch a route to a driver from EasyRoutes?

Yes. From any route you can dispatch to a specific driver, or share a route link that allows self‑assignment by your driver pool. Assigned drivers receive the route in the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app (iOS/Android) with turn‑by‑turn directions via their preferred navigation app. For busy days, combine dispatch with Route Groups to release multiple routes at once and monitor progress on a single screen. This behaviour is consistent across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I export my routes for reporting or analysis?

Yes. From the Routes page or an individual route view, export to CSV for all relevant route data points. Exports include stop details, timestamps, driver assignments, and URLs to related proof of delivery (photos/signature/notes). Use these files for accounting, customer service follow‑up, or analysis in spreadsheets or external tools. Exports are supported in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

What kinds of proof of delivery can EasyRoutes capture?

Drivers can capture multiple photos, obtain a customer e‑signature, and add notes at the stop. These items are stored with timestamps and the completion context, and they’re visible to admins on the route and stop record. When enabled in EasyRoutes Settings, customers can see PoD on tracking pages and in notifications.

Can I include proof of delivery on customer tracking links?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web can display proof of delivery (PoD) on the customer’s tracking page right after a stop is marked Delivered or Attempted. PoD can include delivery photos, e‑signature confirmation, and optional driver notes. Turn this on from EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications (email/SMS) to send tracking links automatically. For internal auditing, PoD is also visible on the route and stop records for your team.

Can I plan pickup routes?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports pickups alongside deliveries in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Add pickup stops the same way as deliveries (Shopify orders, CSV/API imports, or manual stops). Set the pickup location (store/warehouse/customer) and, if needed, add instructions or required items to the stop notes.

Pickups appear in the route in sequence with other stops, on printed documents, and in the driver app. If only pickups are needed, create a pickup‑only route and dispatch to the driver as usual.

Can EasyRoutes import orders from spreadsheets?

Yes. Upload a CSV to create stops with customer, address, and item details — even if the orders weren’t placed in Shopify. The importer supports line‑item fields such as quantity and weight so you can use vehicle capacity limits accurately. Once imported, these stops can be filtered, optimized into routes, and dispatched to drivers like any other order source.

Can I manage recurring deliveries?

Yes. Use EasyRoutes Workflows to auto‑create routes daily, weekly, or monthly from saved filters or route templates. For fixed runs, copy an existing route (or selected stops) to a new date, then re‑optimize for current constraints. These options are available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and pair well with auto‑dispatch for hands‑off mornings.

Can I group routes together for easier dispatching?

Yes. When you create several routes together, EasyRoutes places them in a Route Group so you can manage a delivery day (or multiple zones) as a single unit. From the group page you can dispatch all routes, view colour‑coded live driver pins, move stops between routes, and balance workloads. Route Groups work the same in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and are ideal for medium/large fleets or recurring delivery days.

Does EasyRoutes for Web offer the same features as EasyRoutes for Shopify?

The majority of EasyRoutes’ core route planning and optimization features are included in both products, including our intuitive user interface, customizable route options, and visual route planning via map views.  

EasyRoutes features that rely on Shopify-native functionality or APIs (such as Shopify email & SMS notifications, order tags, subscription order generation, and fulfillment workflows) are not currently available on EasyRoutes for Web.  Select EasyRoutes automation tools (including import automation rules) are also currently exclusive to EasyRoutes for Shopify.

What is the Activity Feed in EasyRoutes?

The Activity Feed provides an up‑to‑date audit trail across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. It records events like route creation/dispatch, stop status updates (Out for Delivery, Delivered, Attempted), driver assignments, and proof‑of‑delivery uploads. Use it to investigate issues, answer customer inquiries with precise timestamps, and validate operational changes during a delivery day.

Can I use EasyRoutes Workflows with BigCommerce orders?

Once your BigCommerce orders are in EasyRoutes—whether through CSV, Zapier, or API—they can be used with Workflows to automate repetitive tasks. For example, you could build a Workflow that automatically creates and dispatches routes every morning for all BigCommerce orders tagged “Delivery.” This allows your BigCommerce operation to benefit from the same automation available to Shopify users. What types of data does Delivery Analytics provide?

Delivery Analytics provides a consolidated view of your operations across both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Key metrics include total stops and routes, completion rate, attempted/missed deliveries, average delivery time, and per‑driver performance summaries. Use it to compare activity over time, spot bottlenecks, and validate operational changes.

You can filter by time period and specific drivers to focus on a team or individual, then export results to CSV for reporting. For event‑level detail (e.g., when a stop changed status), open the route’s Activity Feed. Analytics refreshes as new delivery events are recorded, so the dashboard stays current throughout the day.

Can EasyRoutes connect to multiple Shopify stores?

EasyRoutes functions like other public Shopify apps: one app install per store. If you operate multiple stores, you can plan centrally by importing stops from other stores (CSV, API, webhooks/Zapier) into the EasyRoutes workspace you use for routing. This approach lets you manage a combined delivery day while preserving each store’s native Shopify workflows.

How does the free trial work?

Pick any plan to start a 14-day trial with full feature access. Cancel during the trial to avoid charges; continue and your subscription begins at the end of day 14. Trials apply to any tier, and billing starts on your first post-trial cycle through Shopify (for EasyRoutes for Shopify) or Stripe (for EasyRoutes for Web). Seat changes you make later will be prorated within your billing cycle.

What permissions do drivers need to enable tracking?

For reliable live tracking, drivers should: (1) sign in to EasyRoutes Delivery Driver; (2) allow Always/Allow all the time location access; (3) enable Precise location; and (4) keep battery optimization from restricting the app (disable aggressive battery saver if needed). These settings apply on both iOS and Android and can be checked from device Settings.

Can customers give feedback through their tracking page?

Yes. Delivery Ratings allow recipients to provide quick feedback from the tracking page right after their order is delivered. You can collect a star rating and an optional comment, then export results or segment by driver to monitor individual performance and service quality. Ratings help highlight coaching opportunities and verify customer satisfaction trends over time.
