Is there any feature difference between Web & Shopify?

The majority of EasyRoutes’ core route planning and optimization features are included in both products, including our intuitive user interface, customizable route options, and visual route planning via map views.

EasyRoutes features that rely on Shopify-native functionality or APIs (such as Shopify email & SMS notifications, order tags, subscription order generation, and fulfillment workflows) are not currently available on EasyRoutes for Web.  Select EasyRoutes automation tools (including import automation rules) are also currently exclusive to EasyRoutes for Shopify.

Does EasyRoutes require internet to run routes?

Admins need an internet connection to create, edit, and dispatch routes. The EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app supports low‑connectivity situations: if a driver opens the route while online, stop data is cached locally so they can navigate, update status, and capture proof of delivery offline. The app queues events and syncs them to EasyRoutes once the device reconnects.

See: Can I use EasyRoutes without a connection?

Can I track more than one route simultaneously?

Yes. When you create multiple routes together, EasyRoutes groups them so you can monitor all active drivers in a single view. The Route Group page shows color‑coded pins, per‑route progress, and live stop updates. Use this view to coordinate dispatch, answer customer inquiries, and rebalance work if needed by moving stops between routes.

See: Real-Time Driver Location Tracking · Route Groups

Can I import orders from spreadsheets?

Yes. Upload a CSV to create stops with customer, address, and item details — even if the orders weren’t placed in Shopify. The importer supports line‑item fields such as quantity and weight so you can use vehicle capacity limits accurately. Once imported, these stops can be filtered, optimized into routes, and dispatched to drivers like any other order source.

See: How to import orders from CSV

Does EasyRoutes integrate with WooCommerce?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports WooCommerce order data in multiple ways. You can export orders from WooCommerce and import them into EasyRoutes via CSV, or you can set up automated workflows using Zapier or our API. This flexibility allows you to start with simple drag-and-drop imports and scale up to real-time order syncing as your delivery needs grow.

Can customers give feedback via their tracking page?

Yes. Delivery Ratings allow recipients to provide quick feedback from the tracking page right after their order is delivered. You can collect a star rating and an optional comment, then export results or segment by driver to monitor individual performance and service quality. Ratings help highlight coaching opportunities and verify customer satisfaction trends over time.

See: Delivery Ratings

Can drivers self-assign routes?

Yes. For flexible fleets, create a self‑assign link so any active driver can claim the route from the link. This is useful for contractor pools or last‑minute coverage — whoever taps the link first becomes the assigned driver. You can share links in SMS, WhatsApp, or Slack and revoke them if needed.

See: Dispatch links & driver self‑assign

Can I notify customers of delays with EasyRoutes?

Yes. In EasyRoutes Settings → Customer notifications, enable the Rescheduled template and customize the message and variables (date, window, tracking link, etc.). Trigger it when routes or stops move to a new day/time so recipients are informed proactively. This works for both Shopify orders and imported/manual stops across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Delivery Notifications – Email & SMS

What app permissions are required?

Drivers should enable: (1) Location set to Always/Allow all the time with Precise on for accurate tracking and ETAs; (2) Camera/Photos to capture proof of delivery; (3) Notifications for new route alerts; and (4) on Android, allow Storage/Media so photos save correctly. Battery optimization should not restrict the app so background location continues during a route.

See: What app permissions does EasyRoutes Delivery Driver use?

Does EasyRoutes support contactless or leave-at-door delivery?

Yes. For contactless or leave-at-door drops, a driver can complete a stop without a signature by photographing where the order was left, capturing the GPS delivery location, and adding a note. Up to four photos, an automatic timestamp, and the location are stored with the stop as proof.

You can require specific proof — for example a photo — before a stop can be marked delivered, and show it on the customer's tracking page. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Proof of Delivery

Does EasyRoutes show route distance and duration?

Yes. In both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web you’ll see total estimated mileage (or kilometers) and drive time for each route as soon as it’s created. These figures adjust whenever you change options, or edit stop order, and re‑optimize — so planners and drivers work from current ETAs. Travel to/from start and end locations is included when configured, and per‑stop service time is factored into ETAs shown to customers.

See: Where can I see the total mileage of a route?

Can I use the API to import external eCommerce orders?

Yes. The EasyRoutes Routes API accepts imported orders/stops (customer details, address, items, notes) so you can bring orders from non‑Shopify sources into EasyRoutes. After importing, you can create new routes, add the stops to existing routes, assign drivers, and dispatch. This works for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and complements CSV import when you need automation.

See: EasyRoutes Routes API – Import Stops

Can drivers mark a stop as attempted/failed and record a reason?

Yes. When a stop can’t be completed, drivers mark it Attempted instead of Delivered from the Update Status section on the stop. They can choose a preset reason (for example, no answer, inaccessible, or Canceled) and add a note or proof of delivery to document what happened. The reason then appears on the stop’s details and feeds into your delivery analytics. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I see performance trends over time or compare periods?

Yes. The Analytics dashboard lets you pick a time period and, optionally, a second period to compare against, plus break the data down by driver. Trend lines (linear or logarithmic) help visualize the direction of your delivery metrics over time, and longer ranges roll up into weekly or monthly intervals. You can export any breakdown to CSV for deeper analysis. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Analytics

Can I print my route details for drivers?

Yes. Open a route and click Print to generate driver‑friendly documents in stop order: a compact route summary, packing slips, or packing labels. You can adjust content and sizing in Settings → Packing Slips & Labels, then print or choose Save as PDF for tablet use or record‑keeping. This workflow is identical in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

For multi‑package orders, print one label per item; for quick loading, include the Route Inventory/Packing List so teams can stage by stop.

See: How do I print a route? · Route Inventory/Packing List

Can I set specific start or end locations for my routes?

Yes. Configure a start location (e.g., your store, a local warehouse, or a driver's home base) and an end location (e.g., a depot, final stop, or loop back to the route's start location) on each route. These points are included in optimization and time estimates, so drivers see realistic drive times and customers receive accurate ETAs. You can set defaults in Route Options, then override per route as needed. For multi‑warehouse operations, create routes that begin near each inventory location to reduce deadhead driving. In both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web, you can adjust these locations after route creation and re‑optimize to update the sequence and times.

See: Start/End Locations

Which label printers and formats are supported (thermal 4×6, Avery sheets, etc.)?

EasyRoutes generates packing labels you print from your browser or as a PDF, so it works with any printer rather than a specific brand — including thermal label printers and standard sheet printers. Set your label size (for example 4×6 thermal or A4/Letter), layout, and font scale in Settings > Packing Slips & Labels, then match your printer’s paper size and scale. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Printing packing labels

Can I export customer delivery data?

Yes. From the Routes page or an individual route, export CSV files containing stop information (customer name, address, contact fields), timing, driver assignments, and URLs to any proof of delivery items. Use these exports for customer service, accounting reconciliation, or analysis in spreadsheets and external tools.

See: How do I export routes/stops?

What data does Delivery Analytics provide?

Delivery Analytics provides a consolidated view of your operations across both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Key metrics include total stops and routes, completion rate, attempted/missed deliveries, average delivery time, and per‑driver performance summaries. Use it to compare activity over time, spot bottlenecks, and validate operational changes.

You can filter by time period and specific drivers to focus on a team or individual, then export results to CSV for reporting. For event‑level detail (e.g., when a stop changed status), open the route’s Activity Feed. Analytics refreshes as new delivery events are recorded, so the dashboard stays current throughout the day.

See: Delivery Analytics · Activity Feed

Can I customize driver permissions?

Yes. From EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings, define what drivers can access on mobile. Options include letting drivers manually re‑order stops, re‑optimize the remaining sequence mid‑route, and whether to show sensitive customer data (e.g., email, phone, notes). These controls apply to both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web so you can tailor the experience to your policies.

See: Configure what is shown to the driver · Driver‑side re‑optimize

Can I re-optimize a route after creating it?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web let you re‑optimize a route whenever plans change. Use this feature after you add or remove stops, change stop priorities, edit time windows or service times, or adjust limits like max route duration and stop limits. You can also balance stops across multiple routes first, then re‑optimize each route to tighten the sequence. If permitted in your Driver Settings, drivers may manually re‑order stops from the driver app or re‑optimize the remaining stops in their route to recalculate ETAs after mid‑route changes. For API‑driven workflows, use the Routes API to programmatically update routes and trigger re‑optimization.

See: How do I re‑optimize a route? · How do I allow drivers to re‑order stops?

What information can I see in real-time tracking as an admin?

Admins can monitor each active route from the Tracking tab: view a live GPS pin, the recent breadcrumb path, and which stop the driver is headed to now. Stop tiles update in real time with status changes and completion times, and proof of delivery (photos, signature, notes) appears as soon as it’s captured. You can also open a Route Group to watch multiple routes/drivers concurrently.

See: Real-Time Driver Location Tracking · EasyRoutes Activity Feed

Can I use Workflows with WooCommerce orders?

Yes. After your WooCommerce orders are imported into EasyRoutes (via CSV, Zapier, or API), you can use EasyRoutes’ Workflows to automate the next steps. For instance, you could create a Workflow that builds and dispatches routes every morning from all WooCommerce orders tagged as “Local Delivery.” This ensures WooCommerce data flows into the same automation engine used across EasyRoutes.

See: Workflows Overview

What export settings should I use in Squarespace?

When exporting orders from Squarespace, ensure you only include “Pending” orders from the fulfillment filter. This ensures you’re working with unfulfilled deliveries that still need to be routed. If only certain products require delivery, you can filter by “Specific product” during export. This gives you precise control over which orders are included in your EasyRoutes import.

See: Squarespace Import Guide

What is my on-time delivery rate and how is it measured?

Your on-time rate reflects the share of deliveries completed within their scheduled delivery window, based on the timestamps captured when drivers mark stops complete. Open the Analytics tab and choose a time period (and optionally a driver) to see on-time performance alongside completion rates and delivery durations. Route scheduling and time windows need to be set for on-time measurement to be meaningful. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Analytics

Are there any differences in the customer experience between products?

Customizable delivery status notifications (both email and SMS), order tracking pages including delivery ETAs, real-time driver location tracking, and Proof of Delivery (photos, eSignature, driver note, delivery GPS location) are all broadly supported on both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Customers receiving deliveries via either platform will benefit from the same user experience, tailored to meet your brand’s standards.
