Are vehicle types/capacities supported for optimizing?

Yes. EasyRoutes features customizable Vehicle Profiles for different vehicle types, as well as route capacities (e.g., item or weight limits) that can be assigned to a route so our route optimizer respects those limits. Route‑level capacity controls — such as Max items per route and Max weight per route — to prevent overloading a vehicle. Pair capacity settings with other constraints (including custom start/end locations, stop time intervals, and delivery time windows) and re‑optimize to reflect changes. For commercial navigation needs, export routes to GPX and load them onto Garmin devices that support truck‑aware routing.

What permissions do drivers need to enable tracking?

For reliable live tracking, drivers should: (1) sign in to EasyRoutes Delivery Driver; (2) allow Always/Allow all the time location access; (3) enable Precise location; and (4) keep battery optimization from restricting the app (disable aggressive battery saver if needed). These settings apply on both iOS and Android and can be checked from device Settings.

What is EasyRoutes and who is it for?

EasyRoutes combines route planning, driver dispatch, live tracking, and proof of delivery in one system. Teams select orders (from Shopify or external sources), create optimized routes with start/end locations and options (time windows, service times), then dispatch to the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app.

Admins monitor routes in the browser, view ETAs and driver location (Premium/Enterprise), and share branded tracking pages and notifications with customers. Proof of delivery items — photos, eSignature, notes — are captured in the field and visible on the stop record. EasyRoutes is designed for SMBs and delivery fleets of any size across industries.

What data does Delivery Analytics provide?

Delivery Analytics provides a consolidated view of your operations across both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Key metrics include total stops and routes, completion rate, attempted/missed deliveries, average delivery time, and per‑driver performance summaries. Use it to compare activity over time, spot bottlenecks, and validate operational changes.

You can filter by time period and specific drivers to focus on a team or individual, then export results to CSV for reporting. For event‑level detail (e.g., when a stop changed status), open the route’s Activity Feed. Analytics refreshes as new delivery events are recorded, so the dashboard stays current throughout the day.

See: Delivery Analytics · Activity Feed

Will drivers get notified when assigned a route?

Yes. When you assign and dispatch a route, EasyRoutes sends the driver a push notification that opens the route in the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app. If the driver doesn’t receive alerts, confirm notification permission on the device and that the driver is added with the correct phone number. Drivers can also pull‑to‑refresh their route list to fetch new assignments.

Can drivers upload proof from their phone gallery?

Yes. In addition to taking photos in‑app, drivers can attach images from the phone’s gallery when you allow this option. It’s especially useful when a photo was captured by the camera app while offline; the driver adds it later, and EasyRoutes syncs the proof and timestamps once connectivity returns.

See: Upload from device gallery

Can I mix pickups and deliveries on the same route?

Yes. A single EasyRoutes route can combine deliveries and pickups, so a driver can drop off orders and collect returns, empties, or reusable packaging on one trip. Add pickup stops alongside deliveries from Shopify orders, CSV/API imports, or manual stops; optimization sequences everything together, and each task is labeled for the driver in the app and on printed documents. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

How accurate are ETAs?

EasyRoutes calculates ETAs from drive times and your configured service time per stop, adjusting for start/end locations, stop priorities, and time windows. As drivers complete stops, ETAs refresh automatically based on actual timing. The best results come from accurate addresses, realistic service times, and consistent driver start times.

Customers see ETAs on tracking pages and (optionally) receive updates via email/SMS.

Can I combine Zapier with EasyRoutes Workflows?

Yes. Workflows automate delivery tasks inside EasyRoutes, while Zapier connects EasyRoutes to external systems. Together, they create powerful end-to-end automation. For instance, a Workflow might create a route when orders arrive, while Zapier sends Slack alerts or updates a Google Sheet whenever stops on that route are completed. This layered approach ensures internal and external processes stay in sync.

See: Workflows Overview

How do I manage my active drivers?

Invite drivers from the Drivers & Vehicles tab, then assign a driver seat to activate them. Deactivate drivers anytime to free a seat without deleting their profile or history. You can switch which people occupy seats as staffing changes — ideal for seasonal or on-call drivers. These controls are available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Add a driver · Activate/deactivate drivers

Can drivers confirm who received the delivery?

Yes. When you collect an e-signature, the driver can record who signed — the "Signed for" name is stored with the stop and appears in exports. For an explicit record, add a Driver Task text field for the recipient's name, and the driver can add a note or photo as well.

All of it is saved to the stop's proof-of-delivery timeline and can be shown on the customer's tracking page. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can EasyRoutes send notifications for Wix orders?

Yes. Once imported into EasyRoutes, Wix orders benefit from the same notification system as Shopify or BigCommerce orders. Customers can receive branded notifications by email or SMS, complete with real-time tracking links, helping reduce “Where’s my order?” calls and improving delivery transparency.

See: Notifications & Tracking

Does EasyRoutes work internationally?

Yes. EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web work in many countries around the world. Address geocoding, map tiles, and driving directions are available globally, and core features — route optimization, driver app, tracking links, and proof of delivery — operate the same. In certain regions, map data or SMS availability may differ based on local providers.

Before rollout, confirm your country is supported and run a quick pilot to validate address formats (postal codes, provinces) and notification deliverability.

What are the main benefits of using EasyRoutes with WooCommerce?

By connecting WooCommerce to EasyRoutes, you unlock the full delivery management suite: optimized multi-stop routes, live driver tracking, branded notifications, proof of delivery (photos, notes, signatures), and analytics dashboards. This transforms WooCommerce from a simple order-taking tool into a complete last-mile delivery platform. Whether you’re handling 10 deliveries a week or 1,000, EasyRoutes scales with your business and improves customer satisfaction.

See: WooCommerce Integration

What triggers does EasyRoutes provide in Zapier?

EasyRoutes offers webhook-based triggers in Zapier, such as “Route Updated” and “Stop Status Updated.” These let you automatically take action in other apps when a route changes or a driver marks a stop as delivered. For example, you can update a customer record in your CRM or notify your warehouse team when a stop is completed.

See: Zapier Setup Guide

Can I preview my notification templates before sending them?

Yes. Open any template in the Notifications editor and use Preview with Example Data to see how your message will render, including variables. You can also send a real‑world test by creating a draft order or manual stop with your own contact details, and triggering notifications on a sample route. Preview/testing tools are available for both email and SMS on Shopify and Web.

See: Delivery Notifications – Email & SMS

Does EasyRoutes support time windows for deliveries?

Yes. Time windows are supported in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Add a window directly to a stop, or pull windows from checkout tools/date pickers (e.g., Zapiet, Buunto, and other supported third‑party apps). This way, our route optimizer sequences stops to respect open/close times while considering start/end locations, stop times, and other limits. If windows create conflicts that exceed constraints (e.g., max duration), split stops into additional routes or relax limits, then re‑optimize. ETAs displayed to drivers and customers reflect these windows so deliveries align with customer preferences as closely as possible.

See: Time Windows · Supported third‑party apps

Can I combine Wix orders with other platform orders in EasyRoutes?

Yes. EasyRoutes is designed to unify multi-platform delivery operations. You can import Wix orders and combine them with orders from Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or other sources. All orders appear in one dashboard, so you can generate optimized multi-stop routes across platforms.

See: EasyRoutes for Wix

Does EasyRoutes integrate with Wix?

Yes. EasyRoutes integrates with Wix through multiple methods: you can export orders from Wix to a CSV and import them into EasyRoutes, or use Zapier and our API for automated, real-time workflows. This flexibility means businesses can start quickly with spreadsheet imports and later upgrade to automated integrations as they scale.

See: EasyRoutes for Wix

Can I duplicate a route for future use?

Yes. To repeat a regular run, open the route and use the actions menu to duplicate/copy it, then set a new date/time, driver, and any updated options. Re‑optimize to account for traffic windows or new constraints. You can also copy only a subset of stops by selecting them and sending them to a new route. This approach works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: How to Edit Routes

What can I do with EasyRoutes’ Zapier integration?

Zapier expands EasyRoutes by letting you connect with thousands of popular apps like Google Sheets, Slack, Gmail, and CRMs. You can set up automated workflows such as importing new orders into EasyRoutes, sending delivery updates to your team via Slack, or logging route data into spreadsheets for reporting. This no-code integration makes it easy to streamline operations without custom development.

See: EasyRoutes Zapier Integrations

Which label printers and formats are supported (thermal 4×6, Avery sheets, etc.)?

EasyRoutes generates packing labels you print from your browser or as a PDF, so it works with any printer rather than a specific brand — including thermal label printers and standard sheet printers. Set your label size (for example 4×6 thermal or A4/Letter), layout, and font scale in Settings > Packing Slips & Labels, then match your printer’s paper size and scale. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Printing packing labels

Can I use Workflows with Squarespace orders?

Yes. After importing Squarespace orders into EasyRoutes (via CSV, Zapier, or API), they can be used with Workflows. For example, you could set up a Workflow that automatically generates delivery routes at a set time each day from all Squarespace orders and dispatches them to drivers. This helps Squarespace merchants automate repetitive tasks and maintain smooth operations.

See: EasyRoutes Workflows

What are the main benefits of using EasyRoutes with BigCommerce?

By integrating BigCommerce with EasyRoutes, you get a complete delivery management solution: multi-stop route optimization, real-time driver tracking, branded customer notifications, proof of delivery (photos, notes, signatures), and analytics. This turns BigCommerce from a storefront into a powerful logistics tool, helping you scale local delivery with confidence.

See: BigCommerce Overview

Can I share proof of delivery through tracking links?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web can display proof of delivery (PoD) on the customer’s tracking page right after a stop is marked Delivered or Attempted. PoD can include delivery photos, e‑signature confirmation, and optional driver notes. Turn this on from EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications (email/SMS) to send tracking links automatically. For internal auditing, PoD is also visible on the route and stop records for your team.

What's the best way to keep perishable goods at temperature during multi-stop routes?

Keep product moving and time on the road low. Cap Max route duration and Max stops/items per route so no run exceeds your safe window, and let optimization split the overflow into extra routes. Use time windows and priority stops so the most temperature-sensitive orders are delivered first.

Pair the routing with physical cold-chain steps — insulated bags or coolers — and a required Driver Task to confirm handling. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
