EasyRoutes builds efficient routes by combining your inputs (orders/stops and addresses) with constraints and preferences. It accounts for start and end locations, optional time windows, per‑stop service times, speed factors, and limits such as maximum duration, stops, items, or weight. You can create multiple routes at once, balance stops evenly, or optimize for the fewest routes that still meet your limits. After reviewing the map and stop list, drag‑and‑drop stops to make manual adjustments, then re‑optimize to apply changes.

By default, CSV imports are static snapshots. To achieve real-time updates, you can set up Zapier workflows or use the EasyRoutes API. For example, if an order’s address changes in WooCommerce, Zapier or a custom API connection can automatically push that update into EasyRoutes, ensuring drivers always have the latest information. Yes. Packing slips are configurable so teams can show the fields drivers or packers need. In EasyRoutes Settings → Packing Slips & Labels you can: include a logo, select variables (customer details, order items, notes), set text sizes, and tweak headers and helper text. Print slips directly from any route.
Note: Some variables are only available when printing one slip per stop vs. one per item. Adjust your preference in the Print Preview if you need item-level detail.
Yes. When creating multiple routes as a group, use the Balance routes feature to spread stops evenly across drivers and routes. Balancing respects your other settings — such as max route duration, max stops/items, custom start/end locations, and time windows — so each route remains feasible. You can also choose to create and auto‑assign routes to selected drivers, then re‑optimize each route to fine‑tune their sequence and ETAs. This feature is available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and is especially helpful for daily batch planning.

Yes. In EasyRoutes for Shopify you decide whether to send messages using EasyRoutes’ customizable templates, or Shopify’s native notification flows. EasyRoutes writes tracking details to the Shopify fulfillment so the order status page and Shopify notifications include the correct link. If you enable both systems, review your templates to prevent duplicate emails/SMS.
Configuration lives in EasyRoutes notification settings; Shopify templates are managed in your Shopify admin.
Drivers can install the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) using the official links provided in our Help Center. The app works with both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web accounts; once added as a driver, sign in using the phone number on file and the SMS code sent to that device. After dispatch, routes appear automatically in the app and can also be opened from the push notification's shared route link.

The Activity Feed itself isn’t exported as a single file, but you can export route and stop data that reflect the same underlying events. From the Routes page, export a date range (or open a specific route) to download CSVs containing stop details, completion timestamps, driver info, and links to proof of delivery. Use the feed to identify the timeframe or routes you need, then export those records directly.
Yes. To reprint, open the route, click Print, and enable Packing slips and/or Packing labels. You can send the batch to a printer again or save a fresh PDF. Reprinting uses your current template settings — if you change variables or sizes in Settings → Packing Slips & Labels, the new output will reflect those changes.
If the route has been archived from your EasyRoutes account, restore it before printing. This reprint flow works the same in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
Yes. You can add breaks before optimization (by setting the planned break time) or after creating a route (by inserting a break and positioning it between stops). Breaks appear to drivers as a stop in the sequence, and when a break is included in a route, EasyRoutes will recalculate remaining ETAs and the overall route duration. This is useful for lunch windows, mandatory rest periods, or overnight pauses. For multi‑day itineraries, consider splitting different days into separate routes, or using an overnight strategy so customer ETAs align with actual delivery periods.
While CSV imports are manual, you can automate order import with Zapier or the EasyRoutes API. For example, you can use a Zap to trigger whenever a new WooCommerce order is placed, automatically sending it to EasyRoutes for routing. With the API, developers can build custom real-time integrations for order imports and updates. This ensures your delivery operations stay in sync without requiring manual exports.
Subscriptions are processed through Shopify Billing (for EasyRoutes for Shopify) or Stripe (for EasyRoutes for Web). After your 14-day trial, app charges run on a 30-day subscription cycle that is independent from Shopify’s invoice cycle. When you add or remove driver seats during a cycle, we prorate charges/credits automatically. SMS delivery notifications are usage-based and draw from a separate balance when enabled.

Yes. Proof of delivery (PoD) captured in the driver app — photos, signature confirmation, and driver notes — is attached to the stop and can be surfaced on the customer’s tracking page. Enable PoD display in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications to share links automatically when a stop is delivered or attempted. PoD is also visible to admins on the route and order records for auditing and support.
EasyRoutes offers webhook-based triggers in Zapier, such as “Route Updated” and “Stop Status Updated.” These let you automatically take action in other apps when a route changes or a driver marks a stop as delivered. EasyRoutes protects order and customer information with modern security practices. Traffic between your browser, the driver app, and our services is encrypted in transit; stored data is encrypted at rest. Access to accounts and APIs is token‑based and limited to the minimum required to operate features like routing, tracking, and notifications. Payments are handled by Shopify or other PCI‑compliant providers — EasyRoutes does not store card data.
We do not sell personal information. Limited sharing with subprocessors may occur solely to operate EasyRoutes as described in our Privacy Policy. Contact support if you have questions about data retention or deletion requests.

Yes. From the EasyRoutes Customer Notifications settings you can enable/disable templates per event and edit their content. Common events include Ready for Delivery, Out for Delivery, Driver is X Stops Away (configurable), Delivered, Missed Delivery, plus Scheduled and Rescheduled notices. Templates can differ for Shopify orders vs. imported/manual stops to match your data and workflow.
Yes. EasyRoutes supports Squarespace orders through multiple integration methods. The simplest way is exporting orders from your Squarespace dashboard to CSV and importing them into EasyRoutes. For automation, you can connect Squarespace with Zapier to send orders directly into EasyRoutes, or build custom workflows with the EasyRoutes API. Admins can control visibility from EasyRoutes Settings → Routes (Route display options) and EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings (Driver app settings). Show only what drivers need in the field while keeping sensitive data minimal.

Admins can monitor each active route from the Tracking tab: view a live GPS pin, the recent breadcrumb path, and which stop the driver is headed to now. Stop tiles update in real time with status changes and completion times, and proof of delivery (photos, signature, notes) appears as soon as it’s captured. You can also open a Route Group to watch multiple routes/drivers concurrently.

Delivery Analytics provides a consolidated view of your operations across both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Key metrics include total stops and routes, completion rate, attempted/missed deliveries, average delivery time, and per‑driver performance summaries. Use it to compare activity over time, spot bottlenecks, and validate operational changes.
You can filter by time period and specific drivers to focus on a team or individual, then export results to CSV for reporting. For event‑level detail (e.g., when a stop changed status), open the route’s Activity Feed. Analytics refreshes as new delivery events are recorded, so the dashboard stays current throughout the day.
Each stop supports multiple PoD elements: up to four photos, an e‑signature with timestamp, and any driver notes. Use photos for placement/context and the signature for hand‑off confirmation. These items appear in admin views, can be shown on tracking pages (per your settings), and are included via links in route/stop exports for record‑keeping.

Invite drivers from the Drivers & Vehicles tab, then assign a driver seat to activate them. Deactivate drivers anytime to free a seat without deleting their profile or history. You can switch which people occupy seats as staffing changes — ideal for seasonal or on-call drivers. These controls are available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
Yes. Time windows are supported in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Add a window directly to a stop, or pull windows from checkout tools/date pickers (e.g., Zapiet, Buunto, and other supported third‑party apps). This way, our route optimizer sequences stops to respect open/close times while considering start/end locations, stop times, and other limits. If windows create conflicts that exceed constraints (e.g., max duration), split stops into additional routes or relax limits, then re‑optimize. ETAs displayed to drivers and customers reflect these windows so deliveries align with customer preferences as closely as possible.
Yes. In EasyRoutes for Shopify you can choose between EasyRoutes’ customizable notifications and Shopify’s built‑in notifications. When using Shopify templates, EasyRoutes maps delivery events (e.g., Out for Delivery, Delivered; Missed Delivery for Local Delivery) to Shopify’s corresponding notifications and attaches the tracking link on fulfillment. To prevent double‑sending, review Shopify’s notification settings and disable overlapping templates when EasyRoutes emails/SMS are enabled.
Yes. On Premium/Enterprise plans, you can send SMS notifications for key delivery events (e.g., Ready for Delivery, Out for Delivery, Driver is X stops away, Delivered, Missed Delivery, and optionally Scheduled/Rescheduled). Messages are billed per segment based on the recipient’s country. Customize content and variables in the template editor, and preview with example data before enabling. Pair SMS with email and customer tracking links for full visibility.
Drivers should enable: (1) Location set to Always/Allow all the time with Precise on for accurate tracking and ETAs; (2) Camera/Photos to capture proof of delivery; (3) Notifications for new route alerts; and (4) on Android, allow Storage/Media so photos save correctly. Battery optimization should not restrict the app so background location continues during a route.
