Can I send notifications for Squarespace orders?

Yes. Once imported, Squarespace orders behave like any other EasyRoutes order. Customers can receive branded delivery notifications via email or SMS, including live tracking links that show where their driver is in real time. This helps reduce “Where’s my order?” calls and improves customer satisfaction.

See: Notifications & Tracking

Does EasyRoutes for Web offer any third-party app or API integrations?

Yes! You can use EasyRoutes' API to customize your integration and build powerful workflows to suit your specific delivery needs. You can also connect EasyRoutes webhooks to Zapier to unlock seamless, no-code workflows with your favourite apps and services, triggered by route updates in EasyRoutes.

What are driver seats and how do they work?

Driver seats control who can receive routes and use the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app. Assign a seat to any driver in your roster to activate them; deactivate a seat when a driver is seasonal or temporarily off the road. You’re billed only for the number of seats included at your plan at any time. Deactivating preserves the driver’s details and history so you can re‑activate them later without re‑inviting.

Seat management is available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web from the Drivers & Vehicles tab of the EasyRoutes navigation menu, or the Billing tab of EasyRoutes Settings for plan upgrades/downgrades.

See: How do I manage my driver seats?

Are there differences for drivers between products?

No. Both products dispatch routes to the same EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app on iOS and Android. Drivers get identical navigation choices (Google/Apple/Waze), proof-of-delivery tools, barcode/driver tasks, and optional features like re-optimizing remaining stops or scheduled breaks — controlled by your admin settings. Any differences are admin-side only (e.g., Shopify-specific fields shown/hidden).

Can I require a successful scan before a stop can be completed?

Yes. When you configure a Scanner-input Driver Task, tick the Delivered and/or Attempted checkboxes to make a successful scan mandatory before that status can be applied. You can also require a Barcode Scan as proof of delivery from Settings > Driver Settings. Either way, drivers can’t mark the stop complete until the scan is captured. Available on Premium and Enterprise plans, in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I group routes together for easier dispatching?

Yes. When you create several routes together, EasyRoutes places them in a Route Group so you can manage a delivery day (or multiple zones) as a single unit. From the group page you can dispatch all routes, view colour‑coded live driver pins, move stops between routes, and balance workloads. Route Groups work the same in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and are ideal for medium/large fleets or recurring delivery days.

Can EasyRoutes connect to multiple Shopify stores?

EasyRoutes functions like other public Shopify apps: one app install per store. If you operate multiple stores, you can plan centrally by importing stops from other stores (CSV, API, webhooks/Zapier) into the EasyRoutes workspace you use for routing. This approach lets you manage a combined delivery day while preserving each store’s native Shopify workflows.

How does EasyRoutes optimize my delivery routes?

EasyRoutes builds efficient routes by combining your inputs (orders/stops and addresses) with constraints and preferences. It accounts for start and end locations, optional time windows, per‑stop service times, speed factors, and limits such as maximum duration, stops, items, or weight. You can create multiple routes at once, balance stops evenly, or optimize for the fewest routes that still meet your limits. After reviewing the map and stop list, drag‑and‑drop stops to make manual adjustments, then re‑optimize to apply changes.

Can I lock or pin a stop's position in the route?

There isn’t a dedicated “lock” toggle to pin one stop to a fixed position. Instead, you control sequence by arranging stops manually with drag-and-drop, and that order stays until you choose to re-optimize (which recalculates the sequence). To keep a stop first or last, set it as your start or end location; to influence inclusion order, use Priority stops. Applies to both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Editing routes · Priority stops

Are proof-of-delivery captures geo-stamped / GPS-tagged?

Yes. When location capture is enabled, EasyRoutes records the driver’s GPS location and a timestamp alongside each proof-of-delivery entry — photos, e-signature, notes, and barcode scans — so every completed stop has a location and time on record. You can review these details on the route’s stop entries and include driver location when exporting stop data for your files. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I troubleshoot missing or inaccurate tracking data?

Yes. Start with these checks:

  • The driver tapped Start Delivery;
  • Device settings allow Always/Allow all the time + Precise location;
  • Battery saver/optimization isn’t restricting background location;
  • Mobile data is on and the signal is stable;
  • The driver app is updated;
  • The driver reopened the app if it was force‑quit.

Can I dispatch routes directly to a driver?

Yes. From any route, choose Assign driver (or select from the header), then click Dispatch. The driver gets a push notification and can start the route from their phone. For busy days, dispatch multiple routes from a Route Group to release them all at once.

See: How do I dispatch / share routes?

Can I re‑optimize a route after it’s created?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web let you re‑optimize a route whenever plans change. Use this feature after you add or remove stops, change stop priorities, edit time windows or service times, or adjust limits like max route duration and stop limits. You can also balance stops across multiple routes first, then re‑optimize each route to tighten the sequence. If permitted in your Driver Settings, drivers may manually re‑order stops from the driver app or re‑optimize the remaining stops in their route to recalculate ETAs after mid‑route changes. For API‑driven workflows, use the Routes API to programmatically update routes and trigger re‑optimization.

See: How do I re‑optimize a route? · How do I allow drivers to re‑order stops?

Can I see performance trends over time or compare periods?

Yes. The Analytics dashboard lets you pick a time period and, optionally, a second period to compare against, plus break the data down by driver. Trend lines (linear or logarithmic) help visualize the direction of your delivery metrics over time, and longer ranges roll up into weekly or monthly intervals. You can export any breakdown to CSV for deeper analysis. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

What kinds of proof of delivery can EasyRoutes capture?

Drivers can capture multiple photos, obtain a customer e‑signature, and add notes at the stop. These items are stored with timestamps and the completion context, and they’re visible to admins on the route and stop record. When enabled in EasyRoutes Settings, customers can see PoD on tracking pages and in notifications.

See: Proof of Delivery

Does EasyRoutes support real-time updates for Wix orders?

By default, CSV imports are static snapshots. To enable real-time updates, you can set up a Zapier workflow that pushes new or updated Wix orders into EasyRoutes automatically. Alternatively, use the API to sync live changes such as address edits or cancellations, ensuring drivers always have up-to-date information.

See: Zapier Guide

Can I track my drivers in real-time?

Yes. With Premium or Enterprise plans, turn on live tracking from EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings. You’ll see a live GPS pin, breadcrumb path, current/next stop, and real‑time status updates on each route’s Tracking tab. Ensure drivers grant Always/Precise location permissions in the Delivery Driver app. Route Groups let you monitor multiple drivers at once.

See: Real‑Time Driver Location Tracking

Can I balance stops evenly across multiple routes?

Yes. When creating multiple routes as a group, use the Balance routes feature to spread stops evenly across drivers and routes. Balancing respects your other settings — such as max route duration, max stops/items, custom start/end locations, and time windows — so each route remains feasible. You can also choose to create and auto‑assign routes to selected drivers, then re‑optimize each route to fine‑tune their sequence and ETAs. This feature is available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and is especially helpful for daily batch planning.

Can I track driver performance?

Yes. Use Delivery Analytics to review outcomes by driver — completed vs. missed stops, average delivery time, and overall success rate — over a selected period. Filter to focus on a single driver or compare across the team. For detailed investigations, open routes to see timestamps and proof of delivery, or export results for use in external tools.

See: Delivery Analytics

Can I plan for two-person or extended-handling stops?

For extended-handling stops, increase the Time per stop or the individual stop's service time so ETAs and Max route duration account for the extra work. For two-person deliveries, note that a route is assigned to a single driver account, so you'd staff that route's vehicle with a crew operationally rather than assigning two driver logins to one route.

Driver Tasks can capture crew-specific steps at the stop. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I use EasyRoutes Workflows with BigCommerce orders?

Once your BigCommerce orders are in EasyRoutes—whether through CSV, Zapier, or API—they can be used with Workflows to automate repetitive tasks. For example, you could build a Workflow that automatically creates and dispatches routes every morning for all BigCommerce orders tagged “Delivery.” This allows your BigCommerce operation to benefit from the same automation available to Shopify users.

Can I color-code zones and assign a specific driver to each?

Yes to colour-coding: each zone has its own route colour, set when you create or edit it, which makes overlapping territories easy to tell apart on the map. Drivers aren’t assigned to a zone directly — instead, plan the zone’s route (or generate a Route Group with one route per zone) and assign a driver when you create or dispatch it. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Are there any differences in the customer experience between products?

Customizable delivery status notifications (both email and SMS), order tracking pages including delivery ETAs, real-time driver location tracking, and Proof of Delivery (photos, eSignature, driver note, delivery GPS location) are all broadly supported on both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Customers receiving deliveries via either platform will benefit from the same user experience, tailored to meet your brand’s standards.

Can I set specific start and end locations for my routes?

Yes. Configure a start location (e.g., your store, a local warehouse, or a driver's home base) and an end location (e.g., a depot, final stop, or loop back to the route's start location) on each route. These points are included in optimization and time estimates, so drivers see realistic drive times and customers receive accurate ETAs. You can set defaults in Route Options, then override per route as needed. For multi‑warehouse operations, create routes that begin near each inventory location to reduce deadhead driving. In both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web, you can adjust these locations after route creation and re‑optimize to update the sequence and times.

Does EasyRoutes support real-time updates for Squarespace orders?

By default, CSV imports are static snapshots of your Squarespace orders. For real-time updates, you can set up Zapier workflows that push new or updated Squarespace orders into EasyRoutes automatically. Alternatively, you can use the EasyRoutes API to sync changes like address updates or cancellations. This ensures your delivery routes always have the latest order information.
