Real-time driver tracking is currently available on Premium and Enterprise plans for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Enable it in EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings.

Can I hide driver location from customers?

Yes. Live driver location on tracking pages is optional - keep it internal or show it to customers when their driver is 1–10 stops away.

Yes. Export Analytics as CSV for reporting or reconciliation. Choose your date range/driver filter, then select Export or Print from the Analytics page.

Can I continue to use Shopify delivery notifications?

Yes. You can use Shopify’s built‑in Local Delivery/Shipping notifications instead of (or alongside) EasyRoutes email/SMS. Avoid duplicate sends by disabling overlapping templates.

How is real-time driver location displayed to customers?

You can show a live GPS pin on customer tracking pages when the driver is approaching. Configure this in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking and pair with email/SMS notifications for maximum visibility.

Can I still use Shopify's built‑in delivery notifications?

Yes. You can use Shopify’s built‑in Local Delivery/Shipping notifications instead of (or alongside) EasyRoutes email/SMS. Avoid duplicate sends by disabling overlapping templates.

Can I export packing slip data instead of printing?

Yes. Use the same Print flow and choose your OS/browser’s Save as PDF, or generate a route PDF for digital sharing.

Can I filter Shopify and imported orders in EasyRoutes?

Yes. Filter by delivery date, zone, status, location (ZIP/postal code, city, country, custom zones) and more criteria to select only the orders you need.

Does EasyRoutes support webhooks?

Yes. EasyRoutes webhooks send real‑time route and stop updates to your systems. You can also connect them to Zapier to automate workflows without code.

Can I attach extra information to stops?

Direct file attachments aren’t supported, but you can add detailed notes to each stop for driver and planner reference.

Can I include proof in Shopify notifications?

Yes. Add PoD image URLs to Shopify’s Delivered/Missed templates so customers receive photo links in standard Shopify emails.

How accurate are ETAs?

ETAs use route distance, stop service times, and historical traffic, and they update during the day as drivers progress. Accuracy improves when addresses and time windows are clean.

Can I set specific start or end locations for my routes?

Yes. Define custom start and end points per route so planning and ETAs include travel to and from these locations. Supported in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I import orders from spreadsheets?

Yes. Import orders by CSV in Shopify or Web, including item‑level quantities and weights for capacity planning.

Does EasyRoutes handle multiple depots?

Yes. Set specific start/end locations per route to represent different depots or driver home bases and plan accordingly.

Does EasyRoutes work with wholesale orders?

Yes. Any Shopify order (including wholesale and/or B2B) can be added to routes as long as it contains a shipping address. You can also correct addresses - or add one to stops without - prior to routing.

Can I view order history?

Yes. Route and stop history is retained across the lifetime of your subscription, and can be searched and exported whenever needed. Filter by status/date from the Routes page.

Can the app work offline?

Yes. If a route is opened while the device is online, the app caches details so drivers can continue working with limited or no connectivity; updates to the route and individual stops will sync back to EasyRoutes when the device is back online.

How do driver seats work?

Driver seats are active licenses you assign to people in your driver roster. Activate a seat to let a driver receive routes in the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app; deactivate a seat to pause access without deleting their profile. You can toggle seats anytime and only pay for the seats on your plan at that moment. Charges/credits are prorated automatically when you add or remove seats.

Are there any differences in the customer experience between products?

Customers get the same experience on both: branded tracking pages with ETAs, real-time updates, and proof-of-delivery receipts (photos, e-signature, notes, GPS). With Shopify, you can also use Shopify’s built-in email/SMS templates; on Web, you’ll use EasyRoutes’ customizable notifications. Either way, you control timing, content, and branding for each status.

Dispatchers use the web app. EasyRoutes for Shopify is accessible inside the Shopify mobile app; EasyRoutes for Web runs in any mobile browser for on‑the‑go monitoring.

How secure is EasyRoutes?

We use industry‑standard security: encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access, and secure billing via Shopify or PCI‑compliant processors. Data is used only to provide the service and is never disclosed to third parties.

Can I test the API in a sandbox environment?

We recommend using a test store or non‑production data for integration testing — e.g., draft orders or manual stops with your own contacts — before pushing to production.

How do I manage my active drivers?

You can add, remove, and switch drivers in a way that is flexible with your business at anytime from within EasyRoutes. If you need more active drivers, then you'll need to add more drivers on your plan.

Where can drivers download the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app?

The EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app is available for iOS and Android. Use our official download links to install and sign in with your driver phone number.

Are there differences for drivers between products?

No. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and Web dispatch delivery routes to the same EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app for iOS and Android.  

Drivers will have access to the same easy-to-use navigation and inventory tools when delivering routes with either product.  Driver-facing route planning features (such as assignable driver tasks and scheduled driver breaks) are also available on both platforms.

What can I do with the API?

Use the API to import stops, create and optimize routes, assign/dispatch to drivers, update stop/route status, and retrieve route data and history.

Can I send tracking links via SMS?

Absolutely. Add tracking links to SMS notifications (available on Premium/Enterprise subscription plans) so customers can follow their delivery. Usage‑based fees apply.

Yes. Flag COD stops for payment collection and document hand‑off with proof of delivery and route exports.

Does EasyRoutes require internet to run routes?

Planning and dispatching routes requires internet. Drivers can continue deliveries offline if their route was opened while connected, and updates to the route will sync when a connection is restored.

Yes. When a route is dispatched and assigned, the driver receives a push notification with a shortcut into the route (requires notification permission).

How do drivers sign in to the app?

Drivers sign in with the phone number used when they were added as a driver. They’ll receive an SMS code and can then access assigned routes.
