What types of proof of delivery (PoD) can be captured?

Drivers can capture multiple photos, obtain a customer e‑signature, and add notes at the stop. These items are stored with timestamps and the completion context, and they’re visible to admins on the route and stop record. When enabled in EasyRoutes Settings, customers can see PoD on tracking pages and in notifications.

See: Proof of Delivery

Does EasyRoutes support webhooks?

Yes. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web support webhooks that notify your apps when key delivery events occur—such as routes created/dispatched/updated and stops started/completed/attempted. Use them to sync delivery status into ERPs/CRMs, trigger customer communications, or update internal dashboards in real time. You can consume webhooks directly at your API endpoint or use Zapier to route events into thousands of tools (Sheets, Slack, email, etc.). Webhooks require a Premium (or higher) plan.

See: Integrate EasyRoutes Webhooks with Zapier

Can EasyRoutes send notifications for Wix orders?

Yes. Once imported into EasyRoutes, Wix orders benefit from the same notification system as Shopify or BigCommerce orders. Customers can receive branded notifications by email or SMS, complete with real-time tracking links, helping reduce “Where’s my order?” calls and improving delivery transparency.

See: Notifications & Tracking

Can I dispatch routes directly to a driver?

Yes. From any route, choose Assign driver (or select from the header), then click Dispatch. The driver gets a push notification and can start the route from their phone. For busy days, dispatch multiple routes from a Route Group to release them all at once.

See: How do I dispatch / share routes?

Can I auto‑dispatch routes?

Yes. Enable automatic dispatch so newly created routes with a scheduled start time are assigned and sent to the chosen driver immediately — no extra clicks. Use this for recurring daily runs or integrations that create routes programmatically. You can still edit or un-dispatch a route before start time if plans change.

See: Automatically dispatching a route

Can I manage recurring deliveries?

Yes. Use EasyRoutes Workflows to auto‑create routes daily, weekly, or monthly from saved filters or route templates. For fixed runs, copy an existing route (or selected stops) to a new date, then re‑optimize for current constraints. These options are available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web and pair well with auto‑dispatch for hands‑off mornings.

See: Workflows · Sending stops to a new route

How do I manage my drivers?

Invite drivers from the Drivers & Vehicles tab, then assign a driver seat to activate them. Deactivate drivers anytime to free a seat without deleting their profile or history. You can switch which people occupy seats as staffing changes — ideal for seasonal or on-call drivers. These controls are available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Add a driver · Activate/deactivate drivers

Can I combine Squarespace orders with orders from other platforms?

Yes. EasyRoutes allows you to centralize multi-platform order management. You can import Squarespace orders via CSV or Zapier while also syncing Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Wix orders into the same account. This lets you plan optimized delivery routes that combine orders from different sales channels.

See: Squarespace Integration

What's the best way to keep perishable goods at temperature during multi-stop routes?

Keep product moving and time on the road low. Cap Max route duration and Max stops/items per route so no run exceeds your safe window, and let optimization split the overflow into extra routes. Use time windows and priority stops so the most temperature-sensitive orders are delivered first.

Pair the routing with physical cold-chain steps — insulated bags or coolers — and a required Driver Task to confirm handling. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Max route duration · Priority Stops

Can I scan existing UPC/product barcodes or QR codes from my supplier?

Yes. Alongside EasyRoutes-native barcodes, drivers can scan existing product or order barcodes and QR codes — including supplier UPC, EAN, Code 128, and 2D formats like QR and Data Matrix — using the phone camera. Externally generated codes are captured and stored with the stop for reference, though match validation (the green/yellow confirmation) applies to EasyRoutes-native codes. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Scanning on the mobile app

Can proof of delivery be exported for records?

Yes. While the PoD gallery itself isn’t a single file download, route/stop exports include links to each proof item plus completion timestamps and driver details — suitable for audits, customer service, or further analysis with external tools. Use Analytics for high‑level performance metrics and the Activity Feed to review the exact sequence of events.

See: Exporting proof of delivery · How do I export routes/stops?

How accurate are ETAs?

EasyRoutes calculates ETAs from drive times and your configured service time per stop, adjusting for start/end locations, stop priorities, and time windows. As drivers complete stops, ETAs refresh automatically based on actual timing. The best results come from accurate addresses, realistic service times, and consistent driver start times.

Customers see ETAs on tracking pages and (optionally) receive updates via email/SMS.

See: Route Scheduling & ETAs

Can I send notifications for imported or manual stops?

Yes. Manual and imported stops can send the same email/SMS notifications as Shopify orders once configured. In EasyRoutes Settings → Customer notifications, enable templates under the Imported Orders sections and ensure each stop includes an email address and or phone number. Use tracking links to provide status and proof of delivery even when the source isn’t Shopify.

See: Delivery Notifications – Email & SMS

Can I combine BigCommerce orders with orders from other platforms?

Yes. BigCommerce orders can be routed alongside orders from Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, or other platforms. You can import or sync all orders into one EasyRoutes account, then generate optimized routes across them. This helps centralize multi-platform delivery operations.

See: BigCommerce Integration

Who should use EasyRoutes for Web?

EasyRoutes for Web is best suited for merchants and service providers who do not have an existing Shopify presence.  Users may currently be using spreadsheets and manual processes to track orders/stops and plan delivery routes, or may be using an alternate eCommerce platform where orders/stops can be exported into a spreadsheet. We also offer an API.

Spreadsheets containing order data can quickly be imported into EasyRoutes for Web to plan and dispatch optimized delivery routes in a fraction of the time compared to manual planning methods.

Can I export activity feed data?

The Activity Feed itself isn’t exported as a single file, but you can export route and stop data that reflect the same underlying events. From the Routes page, export a date range (or open a specific route) to download CSVs containing stop details, completion timestamps, driver info, and links to proof of delivery. Use the feed to identify the timeframe or routes you need, then export those records directly.

See: How do I export routes/stops? · Activity Feed

Can I keep delivery routes short enough to protect perishable goods?

Yes. You can constrain every route so product isn't in transit too long. Set Max route duration to cap total hours, use Max stops per route or Max items per route to limit load size, and optimization will automatically create additional routes rather than overrun your limit. Add time windows for the most sensitive stops so they're served first. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Route Options · Max items/weight per route

Can I lock or pin a stop's position in the route?

There isn’t a dedicated “lock” toggle to pin one stop to a fixed position. Instead, you control sequence by arranging stops manually with drag-and-drop, and that order stays until you choose to re-optimize (which recalculates the sequence). To keep a stop first or last, set it as your start or end location; to influence inclusion order, use Priority stops. Applies to both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Editing routes · Priority stops

Where can drivers download the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app?

Drivers can install the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) using the official links provided in our Help Center. The app works with both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web accounts; once added as a driver, sign in using the phone number on file and the SMS code sent to that device. After dispatch, routes appear automatically in the app and can also be opened from the push notification's shared route link.

Does EasyRoutes support Shopify Subscription orders?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports Shopify Subscription orders, so recurring deliveries can be filtered and routed with your daily batch. Many subscription and checkout tools are supported out of the box; you can also combine with imported/manual stops for non‑Shopify channels. Tracking, notifications, and proof of delivery function the same as for one‑time orders.

See: How does EasyRoutes work with subscriptions? · Supported third‑party apps

Can I print my route details for drivers?

Yes. Open a route and click Print to generate driver‑friendly documents in stop order: a compact route summary, packing slips, or packing labels. You can adjust content and sizing in Settings → Packing Slips & Labels, then print or choose Save as PDF for tablet use or record‑keeping. This workflow is identical in EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

For multi‑package orders, print one label per item; for quick loading, include the Route Inventory/Packing List so teams can stage by stop.

See: How do I print a route? · Route Inventory/Packing List

Can I combine Wix orders with other platform orders in EasyRoutes?

Yes. EasyRoutes is designed to unify multi-platform delivery operations. You can import Wix orders and combine them with orders from Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or other sources. All orders appear in one dashboard, so you can generate optimized multi-stop routes across platforms.

See: EasyRoutes for Wix

What permissions do drivers need to enable tracking?

For reliable live tracking, drivers should: (1) sign in to EasyRoutes Delivery Driver; (2) allow Always/Allow all the time location access; (3) enable Precise location; and (4) keep battery optimization from restricting the app (disable aggressive battery saver if needed). These settings apply on both iOS and Android and can be checked from device Settings.

See: Real-Time Driver Location Tracking · Troubleshooting mobile issues

How do I authenticate API requests?

API access uses tokens you create in your EasyRoutes account. Follow the Getting Started guide to generate a token, store it securely, and add it to requests from your server or integration platform. Tokens work the same way for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Rotate credentials periodically and avoid embedding them in client‑side code.

See: EasyRoutes API Getting Started Guide

How do I add a custom or manual stop?

From any route or the Orders page, click the + Add button under the map and choose Custom stop, then fill in the stop details with a valid address — EasyRoutes auto-fills matches from your Address Book as you type. Tick “Save to address book” to reuse a frequent stop later, and re-optimize if you’d like it slotted into the best position. It’s the same flow whether you’re on EasyRoutes for Shopify or EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Add a custom stop · Address Book

Can I route imported orders alongside Shopify orders?

Absolutely. EasyRoutes supports mixed sources across both products (Shopify and Web). Bring in non‑Shopify orders by uploading a CSV, sending stops through the Routes API, connecting via webhooks/Zapier, or adding custom stops manually. Once imported, they appear alongside Shopify orders on the Orders page, can be filtered like any other stop, and can be optimized together on the same route.
