App performance & navigation improvements

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide users with a fast, reliable, and easy-to-use route planning platform, we've made a number of changes behind the scenes to make EasyRoutes snappier than ever before.

Core app functionality - including selecting & adding orders to the map, generating optimized routes, and navigating between routes & route groups - is now more responsive to user input, with page load times reduced throughout the app.

Users with high order volumes, many historical routes, or with routes containing a large number of stops will see the most significant improvements in functionality, with app responsiveness up to 2x faster than prior to these updates.

In addition to overall performance improvements across the app, we've made several enhancements to EasyRoutes' in-app navigation:

  • Users can now navigate between pages within their current EasyRoutes session using the web browser's back and forward buttons.
  • Individual routes and route groups are now each assigned a dedicated URL, which can be accessed and copied from the web browser's address bar when viewing any route or route group.
  • Dedicated route URLs can now also be bookmarked for quick access like any other webpage, or shared directly with an eligible team member via copy/paste.
