Frequently Asked Questions

Get quick answers to the most common questions about EasyRoutes—setup, routes, drivers, and more.

How quickly can I get started?

Setup is quick: install EasyRoutes (Shopify) or sign in (Web), connect drivers, select orders with filters, and click Create route. Use the defaults for service times and route options, then print or dispatch to the driver app. Most trial users reach a working route within an hour, often faster with our step‑by‑step guide.

If you import orders from outside Shopify, start with a small CSV or a few manual stops to validate the flow before scaling.

Can EasyRoutes integrate with other business tools?

Yes. Integrate EasyRoutes with your existing stack in two ways: (1) programmatically via the Routes API to import stops, create/dispatch routes, and update status; and (2) event‑driven with webhooks and Zapier to push delivery events into Sheets, Slack, email, ERPs/CRMs, or custom endpoints. These options are available for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

How accurate are ETAs?

EasyRoutes calculates ETAs from drive times and your configured service time per stop, adjusting for start/end locations, stop priorities, and time windows. As drivers complete stops, ETAs refresh automatically based on actual timing. The best results come from accurate addresses, realistic service times, and consistent driver start times.

Customers see ETAs on tracking pages and (optionally) receive updates via email/SMS.

Does EasyRoutes work internationally?

Yes. EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web work in many countries around the world. Address geocoding, map tiles, and driving directions are available globally, and core features — route optimization, driver app, tracking links, and proof of delivery — operate the same. In certain regions, map data or SMS availability may differ based on local providers.

Before rollout, confirm your country is supported and run a quick pilot to validate address formats (postal codes, provinces) and notification deliverability.

What support options are available?

We offer a self‑serve Help Center with step‑by‑step guides and videos, plus email support from our team during business hours (ET). Most questions are resolved the same business day. Accounts on the Enterprise plan receive prioritized responses and onboarding help. For incident updates, check our public status page; for billing and plan questions, see the pricing page.

Is EasyRoutes multilingual?

Yes. You can translate and brand customer‑facing tracking pages and notifications so recipients see messages in their language. EasyRoutes displays order/customer fields as they are provided by your source system (e.g., Shopify), making it straightforward to serve multilingual buyers. This applies across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Additionally, the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app supports automatic translations to French and Spanish on both iOS and Android devices.

Can I use EasyRoutes at multiple locations?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports multi‑location operations. You can set unique start/end locations on routes (store, warehouse, driver home base), segment orders by delivery zone or location tags, and dispatch drivers from different hubs on the same day. Route Groups make it easy to manage several routes per location and monitor all drivers together.

This applies across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

How does EasyRoutes pricing work?

EasyRoutes uses a flexible, seat‑based model. Choose a plan (Standard, Premium, Enterprise) and activate the number of driver seats you need; you’re billed only for active seats. You can adjust seats or change tiers at any time, and SMS messaging — if enabled — is charged per message segment. Both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web use the same pricing model.

See: Pricing · Pricing & Plans FAQ

Does EasyRoutes work without Shopify?

Yes. If you don’t use Shopify, EasyRoutes for Web provides the same core workflow — order intake, route planning, dispatch, tracking, proof of delivery, and analytics. Bring orders in via CSV uploads, the Routes API, or webhooks/Zapier. You can also mix non‑Shopify orders with Shopify orders if you operate via multiple e-commerce channels.

Customer tracking pages and notifications work the same, and drivers use the same EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app.
