Can I flag orders that require refrigeration or insulated handling?

Use order tags or a stop note to identify refrigerated orders, or attach a required Driver Task (such as a "Refrigerated — keep insulated" checkbox) so the requirement travels with the stop and must be acknowledged. Order automation rules can apply notes or tasks automatically as orders import.

Combine this with routing limits so cold items spend less time in transit. Applies to both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

How does the free trial work?

Pick any plan to start a 14-day trial with full feature access. Cancel during the trial to avoid charges; continue and your subscription begins at the end of day 14. Trials apply to any tier, and billing starts on your first post-trial cycle through Shopify (for EasyRoutes for Shopify) or Stripe (for EasyRoutes for Web). Seat changes you make later will be prorated within your billing cycle.

Will customers see proof of delivery along with live driver tracking?

Yes. Proof of delivery (PoD) captured in the driver app — photos, signature confirmation, and driver notes — is attached to the stop and can be surfaced on the customer’s tracking page. Enable PoD display in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications to share links automatically when a stop is delivered or attempted. PoD is also visible to admins on the route and order records for auditing and support.

See: Proof of Delivery · Customizable Order Tracking Pages

Is EasyRoutes multilingual?

Yes. You can translate and brand customer‑facing tracking pages and notifications so recipients see messages in their language. EasyRoutes displays order/customer fields as they are provided by your source system (e.g., Shopify), making it straightforward to serve multilingual buyers. This applies across EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Additionally, the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver mobile app supports automatic translations to French, Spanish, Dutch, and German on both iOS and Android devices.

Can Zapier integrate EasyRoutes with my CRM or ERP?

Zapier’s app directory includes thousands of CRMs, ERPs, and productivity tools. With EasyRoutes as the trigger, you can automatically update customer records in HubSpot when a delivery is completed, or sync invoice statuses in NetSuite when routes are dispatched. This ensures delivery data flows into the rest of your business systems seamlessly. See: Zapier App Directory

How do I set up a Scanner-input Driver Task?

From your Orders page, open Add/edit options, find the Driver tasks card and click Enable, then Add new task and choose the Scanner input type. Give it a name (e.g. “Scan product barcode”) and, if you want it enforced, tick Delivered and/or Attempted to require a scan before the stop can be completed. Save, and drivers are prompted to scan at each stop. Driver tasks are available on Premium and Enterprise plans.

How does EasyRoutes handle orders without a shipping address?

If a Shopify order arrives without a valid shipping address, EasyRoutes highlights it so you can fix the address before planning. Edit the order in Shopify (preferred for data accuracy) or add the correct address details to the stop in EasyRoutes, then refresh and route. For pickup orders, set the address to your store or pickup point so drivers and staff can see the correct location on the route map and in documents. Address completeness ensures accurate ETAs, navigation, and proof‑of‑delivery records.

Can I send delivery reminders to customers?

Yes. EasyRoutes lets you set up pre‑ and post‑delivery messages so customers know when to expect their order and where to track it. Enable templates like Ready for Delivery, Out for Delivery, and Driver is X Stops Away, customize the copy/branding, and preview with example data. Works for both Shopify-native orders and imported/manual stops.

Can EasyRoutes integrate with other business tools?

Yes. Integrate EasyRoutes with your existing stack in two ways: (1) programmatically via the Routes API to import stops, create/dispatch routes, and update status; and (2) event‑driven with webhooks and Zapier to push delivery events into Sheets, Slack, email, ERPs/CRMs, or custom endpoints. These options are available for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Do I need coding skills to connect Squarespace with EasyRoutes?

You don’t need to be technical to connect Squarespace with EasyRoutes. Using Zapier, you can build “if-this-then-that” workflows to automatically send Squarespace orders to EasyRoutes for route planning. For businesses that want more advanced automation, the EasyRoutes API lets developers build custom integrations and connect with other business systems. This gives you both a no-code and pro-code path to integration. See: API Getting Started

How quickly can I get started?

Setup is quick: install EasyRoutes (Shopify) or sign in (Web), connect drivers, select orders with filters, and click Create route. Use the defaults for service times and route options, then print or dispatch to the driver app. Most trial users reach a working route within an hour, often faster with our step‑by‑step guide.

If you import orders from outside Shopify, start with a small CSV or a few manual stops to validate the flow before scaling.

Does EasyRoutes support different vehicle types/capacities when optimizing?

Yes. EasyRoutes features customizable Vehicle Profiles for different vehicle types, as well as route capacities (e.g., item or weight limits) that can be assigned to a route so our route optimizer respects those limits. Route‑level capacity controls — such as Max items per route and Max weight per route — to prevent overloading a vehicle. Pair capacity settings with other constraints (including custom start/end locations, stop time intervals, and delivery time windows) and re‑optimize to reflect changes. For commercial navigation needs, export routes to GPX and load them onto Garmin devices that support truck‑aware routing.

How long is activity feed data stored?

EasyRoutes maintains a persistent log of account activity so admins have an authoritative record of delivery events over time. The Activity Feed retains entries for the lifetime of your account unless data is explicitly deleted (e.g., via route removal or a data‑deletion request). When you need a file for records or audits, pair the feed with route/stop CSV exports that include timestamps and proof‑of‑delivery links. This applies to both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Activity Feed · Export routes/stops

Does EasyRoutes have an API?

Yes. You can integrate EasyRoutes with ERPs, CRMs, WMS, and custom apps using our API and webhooks. Typical use cases include importing stops from non‑Shopify channels, syncing delivery status and proof‑of‑delivery back to your system of record, and powering external analytics collection. The same platform supports both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: API Getting Started Guide · Routes API

Can I add proof of delivery manually from my web browser?

Yes. If a driver’s phone was offline or a photo needs to be re‑added, open the stop in EasyRoutes and upload PoD from your browser. The new items join the stop’s timeline with timestamps and appear in exports and tracking (subject to your visibility settings). This works across both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

See: Manually upload PoD

Can I send staff notifications through Zapier when a stop is completed?

Zapier makes it easy to send internal notifications whenever a stop status changes in EasyRoutes. For example, you can set up a Zap that listens for the STOP_STATUS_UPDATED webhook and then sends a Slack alert or email to your team with details like the order number and driver notes. This keeps staff informed in real time without needing to manually monitor dashboards. See: Zapier Staff Notifications

How are same-day changes handled?

EasyRoutes is built for dynamic operations. When an order changes or a new request arrives, open the active route, add or remove stops, and click Re‑optimize to calculate the best new sequence for the remaining stops. ETAs and the driver’s stop list update immediately in the mobile app. If needed, move stops between routes to balance workloads, then re‑optimize each route.

Customer tracking pages and notifications reflect the new schedule so recipients stay informed.

See: Adding orders or stops to routes · Re‑optimizing routes

Can EasyRoutes send notifications for Xero deliveries?

Yes. Once invoices are imported into EasyRoutes, customers linked to those invoices can receive branded notifications via email or SMS, complete with live tracking links. This improves delivery transparency and reduces customer inquiries. See: EasyRoutes for Xero

Does EasyRoutes support real-time updates for Squarespace orders?

By default, CSV imports are static snapshots of your Squarespace orders. For real-time updates, you can set up Zapier workflows that push new or updated Squarespace orders into EasyRoutes automatically. Alternatively, you can use the EasyRoutes API to sync changes like address updates or cancellations. This ensures your delivery routes always have the latest order information. See: Zapier Integration

Can multiple stores connect to one EasyRoutes account?

EasyRoutes functions like other public Shopify apps: one app install per store. If you operate multiple stores, you can plan centrally by importing stops from other stores (CSV, API, webhooks/Zapier) into the EasyRoutes workspace you use for routing. This approach lets you manage a combined delivery day while preserving each store’s native Shopify workflows.

See: Can I connect multiple Shopify stores to EasyRoutes?

Can I flag orders that require refrigeration or insulated handling?

Use order tags or a stop note to identify refrigerated orders, or attach a required Driver Task (such as a "Refrigerated — keep insulated" checkbox) so the requirement travels with the stop and must be acknowledged. Order automation rules can apply notes or tasks automatically as orders import.

Combine this with routing limits so cold items spend less time in transit. Applies to both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I print packing slips for each stop on a route?

Yes. You can generate packing slips for each stop from the route’s Print menu. Choose Packing slips to produce slips in route order, then print or save as PDF for digital handoff. Customize content (logo, variables, formatting) from EasyRoutes Settings → Packing Slips & Labels.

EasyRoutes for Shopify: Use the built-in Print Preview, or send orders to Shopify’s Order Printer/Order Printer Pro for custom templates (Order Printer Pro supports route order).
EasyRoutes for Web: Use the same Print Preview and Settings controls directly in the web app.

See: Printing Packing Slips

Can I change label sizes?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports multiple label sizes. Pick a base size and text scale in EasyRoutes Settings → Packing Slips & Labels, then confirm your printer uses the matching paper (e.g., 4×6) with an appropriate print scale.

  • If text runs long, try a larger font scale or different label size.
  • If alignment is off, ensure paper size matches and adjust browser/driver scale.
  • You can print to PDF first to verify layout before sending to the printer.

What are the main benefits of using EasyRoutes with Squarespace?

By connecting Squarespace to EasyRoutes, you get access to a full delivery management toolkit: optimized multi-stop routes, real-time driver tracking, branded notifications, proof of delivery (photos, notes, signatures), and delivery analytics. This transforms Squarespace from just an eCommerce storefront into a complete last-mile logistics solution. See: Squarespace Overview

Does EasyRoutes integrate with BigCommerce?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports BigCommerce orders in several ways. You can export orders from BigCommerce and import them into EasyRoutes via CSV, or use Zapier and our API for real-time automation. This lets you start quickly with spreadsheet imports and grow into fully automated workflows as your delivery operation scales.

See: BigCommerce Integration

How do driver seats work?

Instead of paying for individual drivers, with EasyRoutes you just pay for a driver seat and can put any driver in your roster into that seat. For example, you could have a plan with two driver seats, but have four drivers in your driver roster. You can easily change which two drivers are active at any given time. And, if you have a busy delivery weekend, you can add seats for the additional drivers for that weekend, and then remove the seats after you're done with them. We prorate the charges and credits for upgrading and downgrading based on the changes in the number of seats on your plan.
