How the AI-powered spreadsheet import maps columns

When you upload a spreadsheet, an AI assistant reads your headers and proposes an initial mapping of each column to the matching EasyRoutes field — address, name, items, and more. Review the import preview, and if anything’s off, click Edit stops to reassign any column by hand (including addresses split across multiple columns). Import the same layout again later and EasyRoutes remembers your previous mapping. Available for CSV import in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I use Workflows with Wix orders?

Yes. Once your Wix orders are inside EasyRoutes, you can use them in Workflows to automate common delivery tasks. For example, you could create a Workflow that builds a new delivery route every afternoon using all Wix orders tagged as “Local Delivery” and automatically dispatches them to drivers. How does EasyRoutes work with orders without an address?

If a Shopify order arrives without a valid shipping address, EasyRoutes highlights it so you can fix the address before planning. Edit the order in Shopify (preferred for data accuracy) or add the correct address details to the stop in EasyRoutes, then refresh and route. For pickup orders, set the address to your store or pickup point so drivers and staff can see the correct location on the route map and in documents. Address completeness ensures accurate ETAs, navigation, and proof‑of‑delivery records.

Can multiple stores connect to one EasyRoutes account?

EasyRoutes functions like other public Shopify apps: one app install per store. If you operate multiple stores, you can plan centrally by importing stops from other stores (CSV, API, webhooks/Zapier) into the EasyRoutes workspace you use for routing. This approach lets you manage a combined delivery day while preserving each store’s native Shopify workflows.

Does EasyRoutes work without Shopify?

Yes. If you don’t use Shopify, EasyRoutes for Web provides the same core workflow — order intake, route planning, dispatch, tracking, proof of delivery, and analytics. Bring orders in via CSV uploads, the Routes API, or webhooks/Zapier. You can also mix non‑Shopify orders with Shopify orders if you operate via multiple e-commerce channels.

Customer tracking pages and notifications work the same, and drivers use the same EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app.

Can I plan pickup routes?

Yes. EasyRoutes supports pickups alongside deliveries in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web. Add pickup stops the same way as deliveries (Shopify orders, CSV/API imports, or manual stops). Set the pickup location (store/warehouse/customer) and, if needed, add instructions or required items to the stop notes.

Pickups appear in the route in sequence with other stops, on printed documents, and in the driver app. If only pickups are needed, create a pickup‑only route and dispatch to the driver as usual.

Can I integrate EasyRoutes with other business tools?

Yes. Integrate EasyRoutes with your existing stack in two ways: (1) programmatically via the Routes API to import stops, create/dispatch routes, and update status; and (2) event‑driven with webhooks and Zapier to push delivery events into Sheets, Slack, email, ERPs/CRMs, or custom endpoints. These options are available for both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

How many photos can be attached to a stop?

Each stop supports multiple PoD elements: up to four photos, an e‑signature with timestamp, and any driver notes. Use photos for placement/context and the signature for hand‑off confirmation. These items appear in admin views, can be shown on tracking pages (per your settings), and are included via links in route/stop exports for record‑keeping.

How much do SMS messages cost?

SMS delivery notifications use usage-based pricing by recipient country and message length. Costs are per segment (e.g., a U.S. segment is $0.043 USD). Longer messages or those with emojis/Unicode may use multiple segments. You fund a prepaid SMS balance and can enable auto-top-ups so notifications continue without interruption.

Can Workflows trigger when new Shopify orders come in?

Yes. Workflows function on a custom scheduling basis that can be adjusted at any time. Any new Shopify orders received prior to the scheduling cut-off will be included in auto-generated routes. A common Workflow is set up to automatically generate routes with new Shopify orders matching certain filters criteria. This ensures your team can start deliveries without manual intervention.

This also eliminates the need for dispatchers to constantly refresh EasyRoutes or manually select new orders. By ensuring routes are always up-to-date with the latest order data, Workflows help reduce delays, prevent missed deliveries, and keep your delivery operation moving smoothly.

Can I auto-dispatch routes?

Yes. Enable automatic dispatch so newly created routes with a scheduled start time are assigned and sent to the chosen driver immediately — no extra clicks. Use this for recurring daily runs or integrations that create routes programmatically. You can still edit or un-dispatch a route before start time if plans change.

What kinds of proof of delivery can EasyRoutes capture?

What real-time tracking data can I see as an admin?

Admins can monitor each active route from the Tracking tab: view a live GPS pin, the recent breadcrumb path, and which stop the driver is headed to now. Stop tiles update in real time with status changes and completion times, and proof of delivery (photos, signature, notes) appears as soon as it’s captured. You can also open a Route Group to watch multiple routes/drivers concurrently.

How does EasyRoutes use real-time traffic in route optimization?

EasyRoutes factors expected traffic conditions into its route optimization and ETA calculations, using live map and traffic data to sequence stops and estimate arrival times. As conditions or your stops change, you can re-optimize at any time and EasyRoutes recalculates the most efficient order. This works alongside options like time windows, toll avoidance, and stop priorities. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can Zapier integrate EasyRoutes with my CRM or ERP?

Zapier’s app directory includes thousands of CRMs, ERPs, and productivity tools. With EasyRoutes as the trigger, you can automatically update customer records in HubSpot when a delivery is completed, or sync invoice statuses in NetSuite when routes are dispatched. Can I dispatch routes directly to a driver?

Yes. From any route, choose Assign driver (or select from the header), then click Dispatch. The driver gets a push notification and can start the route from their phone. For busy days, dispatch multiple routes from a Route Group to release them all at once.

Can I track my drivers in real-time?

Yes. With Premium or Enterprise plans, turn on live tracking from EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings. You’ll see a live GPS pin, breadcrumb path, current/next stop, and real‑time status updates on each route’s Tracking tab. Ensure drivers grant Always/Precise location permissions in the Delivery Driver app. Route Groups let you monitor multiple drivers at once.

Does EasyRoutes support real-time updates for Wix orders?

By default, CSV imports are static snapshots. To enable real-time updates, you can set up a Zapier workflow that pushes new or updated Wix orders into EasyRoutes automatically. Alternatively, use the API to sync live changes such as address edits or cancellations, ensuring drivers always have up-to-date information. See: Zapier Guide

How does EasyRoutes work with Shopify fulfillments?

EasyRoutes integrates with Shopify fulfillments so your order system stays in sync. Marking stops Ready for Delivery, Out for Delivery, Delivered, or Attempted updates the Shopify fulfillment accordingly and adds the EasyRoutes tracking number/URL. Depending on your configuration, Shopify or EasyRoutes sends the customer emails/SMS. Partial items and multi‑item orders are supported; admins can review fulfillment history on the Shopify order and in EasyRoutes route/stop details.

Does EasyRoutes keep a history of my past routes?

Yes. EasyRoutes maintains a route history so you can review previous runs, proof of delivery, and timing information on either EasyRoutes product (Shopify and Web). Use the Routes page to filter by status (unstarted/in progress/completed/archived) and date. Open any route to view stop details and the Activity Feed particulars for that route. You can also export route/stop data for period‑end reporting or audits.

If you don’t see older orders on the Orders page, adjust the Show orders from the last window in Settings; this does not affect existing route history.

Can drivers re-order or re-optimize their stops in the app?

Yes. From EasyRoutes Settings → Driver settings, enable the options to let drivers reorder stops and re‑optimize the remaining sequence when plans change (traffic, customer requests). Re‑optimization recalculates the fastest order for what’s left, while respecting your route constraints (time windows, priorities). Admins can still edit routes from the web at any time.

What are the digital inventory/loading checklists and how do drivers use them?

EasyRoutes automatically builds an inventory (packing checklist) for every route so drivers know exactly what to load before heading out. In the Delivery Driver app, tap Inventory below the map to switch between Summary view (all items and quantities for the route), Items view (each item with its stop), and Orders view (items per stop in route order). Drivers can check items off as they load. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Yes. Proof of delivery (PoD) captured in the driver app — photos, signature confirmation, and driver notes — is attached to the stop and can be surfaced on the customer’s tracking page. Enable PoD display in EasyRoutes Settings → Order tracking, and use notifications to share links automatically when a stop is delivered or attempted. PoD is also visible to admins on the route and order records for auditing and support.

How do I draw or create a delivery zone on the map?

Go to Settings > Delivery Zones and click Create zone above the map. Use the polygon tool to click points on the map and trace your area, then click back on your first point to close the shape. Give the zone a title and pick a route colour, then save. Once created, enable the Delivery zones Route Option to limit a route to orders inside that zone. Available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.

Can I schedule returns or reusable-packaging pickups as stops on a delivery route?

Yes. EasyRoutes lets you add pickups — including returns and reusable-packaging collections — as stops on a delivery route, so drivers retrieve containers on the same run. Add them as custom/manual stops or via CSV/API, set the pickup location, and use stop notes to tell drivers what to collect. Collections appear in sequence with deliveries, on printed manifests, and in the driver app. Works in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
