No. Both products dispatch routes to the same EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app on iOS and Android. Drivers get identical navigation choices (Google/Apple/Waze), proof-of-delivery tools, barcode/driver tasks, and optional features like re-optimizing remaining stops or scheduled breaks — controlled by your admin settings. Any differences are admin-side only (e.g., Shopify-specific fields shown/hidden).

The majority of EasyRoutes’ core route planning and optimization features are included in both products, including our intuitive user interface, customizable route options, and visual route planning via map views.
EasyRoutes features that rely on Shopify-native functionality or APIs (such as Shopify email & SMS notifications, order tags, subscription order generation, and fulfillment workflows) are not currently available on EasyRoutes for Web. Select EasyRoutes automation tools (including import automation rules) are also currently exclusive to EasyRoutes for Shopify.

EasyRoutes for Web is best suited for merchants and service providers who do not have an existing Shopify presence. Users may currently be using spreadsheets and manual processes to track orders/stops and plan delivery routes, or may be using an alternate eCommerce platform where orders/stops can be exported into a spreadsheet. We also offer an API.
Spreadsheets containing order data can quickly be imported into EasyRoutes for Web to plan and dispatch optimized delivery routes in a fraction of the time compared to manual planning methods.

EasyRoutes for Shopify is best suited for merchants who already sell goods or services within the Shopify ecosystem. Users can plan optimized delivery routes with all orders received through their Shopify storefront, created via draft orders, or imported manually as custom stops.
EasyRoutes for Shopify integrates seamlessly with the Shopify Admin and dozens of leading third-party apps, making it the ideal choice for Shopify merchants seeking a streamlined local delivery solution.
SMS delivery notifications use usage-based pricing by recipient country and message length. Costs are per segment (e.g., a U.S. segment is $0.043 USD). Longer messages or those with emojis/Unicode may use multiple segments. You fund a prepaid SMS balance and can enable auto-top-ups so notifications continue without interruption.
You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from EasyRoutes Settings. Plan changes take effect immediately and we’ll prorate charges/credits for the remainder of your current cycle. If you also adjust the number of driver seats, those changes are prorated as well. Billing is handled via Shopify (EasyRoutes for Shopify) or Stripe (EasyRoutes for Web), depending on your product.
Invite drivers from the Drivers & Vehicles tab, then assign a driver seat to activate them. Deactivate drivers anytime to free a seat without deleting their profile or history. You can switch which people occupy seats as staffing changes — ideal for seasonal or on-call drivers. These controls are available in both EasyRoutes for Shopify and EasyRoutes for Web.
Pick any plan to start a 14-day trial with full feature access. Cancel during the trial to avoid charges; continue and your subscription begins at the end of day 14. Trials apply to any tier, and billing starts on your first post-trial cycle through Shopify (for EasyRoutes for Shopify) or Stripe (for EasyRoutes for Web). Seat changes you make later will be prorated within your billing cycle.
Subscriptions are processed through Shopify Billing (for EasyRoutes for Shopify) or Stripe (for EasyRoutes for Web). After your 14-day trial, app charges run on a 30-day subscription cycle that is independent from Shopify’s invoice cycle. When you add or remove driver seats during a cycle, we prorate charges/credits automatically. SMS delivery notifications are usage-based and draw from a separate balance when enabled.

Instead of paying for individual drivers, with EasyRoutes you just pay for a driver seat and can put any driver in your roster into that seat. For example, you could have a plan with two driver seats, but have four drivers in your driver roster. You can easily change which two drivers are active at any given time. And, if you have a busy delivery weekend, you can add seats for the additional drivers for that weekend, and then remove the seats after you're done with them. We prorate the charges and credits for upgrading and downgrading based on the changes in the number of seats on your plan.
